MENTies Bridge: Love Without Limits Celebrating Mika Salamanca’s Birthday 💜✨ Yesterday was more than a celebration, it was a reflection of love, kindness, and the beautiful heart that Mika continues to inspire in all of us. To honor Mika’s special day yesterday, we shared supplies, laughter, stories, and precious moments with the amazing kids of Concordia Children’s Services, Inc. Their smiles lit up the room, their laughter filled our hearts, and their innocence reminded us of the true meaning of giving. Through every hug, every small act of care, and every spark of joy, we felt Mika’s spirit, genuine, loving, and full of compassion. What a blessing it is to celebrate her birthday in a way that gives back, touches lives, and reminds us that love becomes even more powerful when shared. To everyone who made this possible, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You turned Mika’s birthday into a day of purpose, one that will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you, MIKBRENT UNIVERSE (PAUSED), DARS OF MIKBRENT, Millennial MENTies, MIKBRENT ZOMBIES, and Yhang 💜💜 for joining us in celebrating this special day 💜 And to all MENTies, you are part of this project and journey. Thank you 💜 Here’s to celebrating Mika not just with candles and cake, but with kindness that reaches far beyond. Because love, when inspired by someone like Mika, truly knows no limits. — NangNongs of MikBrent 💳 #MikBrent #MikaSalamanca #BrentManalo TWENTYFINE MIKA TWENTYFINE MIKA

Palazzo de MikBrent: The Velvet Hours 💜✨ To Mika Salamanca and brent manalo, We hope you know that you truly deserve nothing but the best. Moments like this warm our hearts, knowing you’re surrounded by the love and support of the whole fandom. Seeing your genuine smiles and happiness—that, for us, NangNongs and MENTies, is priceless. Looking back to your PBB journey, we’re reminded of the words you both lived by—as what Mika said, “Kapag gusto mo, lalabanan mo lahat ng doubts,” and Brent reminding us that “What matters most is the people who believe in you.” Those words didn’t just stay inside the house; they stayed with us, your fandom, and became our guide in showing up for you every single time. “Palazzo De MikBrent: The Velvet Hours” was never just about an event. It was about creating a memory where you can see and feel how much you mean to all of us. Thank you for meeting us, for sharing your smiles, and for making us believe that every effort is worth it because it’s for you. Always remember that we’re here, cheering, supporting, and standing with you through every milestone. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to witness the many more wins you both will achieve. To Amante Fleurs, thank you for this beautiful video and for being one of our partners. Even with less than a month of preparation, you helped turn our vision into a reality. Your creative setup brought our dream event to life and made everything feel even more magical. 💜✨ With love and pride, — NangNongs of MikBrent 💳 #MikBrent #MikaSalamanca #BrentManalo

Marc Andreessen’s body breaks the first rule of emergency medicine. Every ER in America reaches for the same heart attack drug first. It does nothing for him. He has to warn them himself, every time, before the needle goes in. That’s not a glitch. It’s a bug in software built for everyone and tuned to no one. For two hundred thousand years, there was no way to know what made your hardware different from anyone else’s. You inherited a black box, then spent a lifetime mistaking it for yourself. Every choice you’ve ever made, you made through hardware you never once read. The body you’re running was never the statistical average. It was never built to be. Andreessen: “You can get your whole genome decoded now for 200 bucks online.” That number used to be 100 million dollars. One lifetime of biological code, locked behind a price only governments could afford. The man who first decoded the human genome, Craig Venter, spent thirty years building the door. He died the year it finally opened for everyone else. The future of medicine isn’t a better hospital. It’s medicine that finally has your name on it. You map your DNA. You pull a blood panel. You sync the sensor already sitting on your wrist. You feed it to the machine. Andreessen: “It’s almost like the diagnostic bed in Star Trek. It knows everything about you.” It reads your code while you sleep. It catches the anomaly before it becomes a symptom. None of it gets tired, distracted, or wrong. The hard part was never the science. It was never the price. It was the wanting. Andreessen: “That’s the question you have to want to ask.” The machine will hand you the exact truth about your own body. It cannot make you ask for it. Most people will spend eighty years inside a machine they never once requested the manual for. You are the first generation in the history of the species for whom not knowing yourself is a preference. For two hundred thousand years, not knowing yourself was a sentence. Today, it’s a choice. Choose the manual.

I never really quite understood why some women would want to be surrounded by 'losers' that are powerless and worthless. It's one thing to play out a scene where these feelings are explored, it's another to seek these kinds of men to reign over. I am very selective with the energy I let into my field. Someone who doesn't bring any value is a huge liability. Value is not just money. Money is actually the simple baseline that gives the opportunity to request access. But no amount of money is worth being surrounded by someone who drains you energetically, doesn't respect your boundaries, makes you doubt your authority, tries to 'get' something from you by thinking they can just pay their way outside of your established perimeter of play. That ends up costing you more than you would make from such an exchange. Or someone who feels worthless and wants to pay you to validate that on the daily. Then these words become part of you daily speech. Or someone who thinks of themselves as trash... while asking you if you'd own them. Being the one standing tall on top of trash has no appeal to me. But dominating men with power, who know their value, well... that requires to recognize that in them in the first place. Which is where power exchange becomes really potent. Because we start from equal power, but different expressions of it. And we explore receiving, holding and keeping it, and on the other side relinquishing, surrendering, entrusting another with it. You can't relinquish something you don't have. Yet I believe we all have power. So recognizing this in the first place is where it all begins.

🇬🇧 Britain spent forty percent of its annual budget on one thing 🇬🇧 Not the army. ❌ Not the navy. ❌ For Freedom.✅ 1833 - Parliament faced a choice. End slavery gradually let it fade out over decades. Or end it now. But “now” had a price. Slaveholders owned people. Legally. Under existing law, their property couldn’t just be taken. The choice was simple. Pay them off. Or wait. But every year of waiting meant people still in chains. Mothers. Fathers. Children. Britain chose now. 👇 🇬🇧 Forty percent of the entire national budget. The largest loan in British history. Who paid? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 💥MUST WATCH!💥 *Language Alert!* Dan Bongino Dan Bongino MASTERFULLY handles the despicable “Jew Hating” wing of our political movement: “This portion of people who claim to be part of our movement and our cause, claiming our movement, trying to steal our movement and hijack our movement, who think it's edgy or cool to talk about how much they hate the Jews. Don't bullshit anyone. I'm not talking about, so just so we're crystal clear, so you can shut the fuck up right now about this bullshit.” “I am not talking about foreign affairs or a foreign government, the government of Israel. You don't like Netanyahu? That is absolutely your right. Make the case, bro.” “What I'm talking about are people who are trying to infiltrate our movement and destroy us, and the lib media is gleefully playing along, who every single thing has become about the Jews, not Israel. I told you when I first started, and I'm watching this thing, I saw it from the inside, now on the outside. I saw some asshole tweet yesterday that you're still on the Fed payroll.” “Donald Trump's administration is still paying me. Are you a fucking moron? Do you understand these people are fucking insane? Do you know where this goes? You know where this has always gone? This goes to one place, and it is death and destruction, and when you have a choice between civilized man and the demon savages, there's only one fucking choice, man.” “Civilization. That's it. There's no other choice.” “This is a pure tactical argument to me. This goes hatred of any group for their religion, but Jews most prominently because that's the entry vehicle into further destruction of your soul. This only leads to one place, and that is mass death.” “Every single time. Now, the reason this cancer is so particularly dangerous, and I want you to understand this, process this and tattoo it on your brain. The reason this is so dangerous is hating Jews is the only form of overt bigotry that's accepted by people who claim to be part of the wing of both political parties.” “I'm not talking about the state of Israel or government, motherfuckers, so you can take that shit and shove it up your ass. You know what you're doing. You're conflating the two.” “We're losing time. I'm begging you, at my own expense, for everything I have and am worth, please don't fall prey to this stuff. This only goes to one place.”

"First, they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you." The author of this commentary on social change wasn't Gandhi. Its 1918 author was unionist Nicholas Klein, on the successful struggle to establish fair working conditions in America's textile industry. I'm reminded of this aphorism daily by constituents who draw a parallel with One Nation's recent progress. For One Nation, the 'burn you' part has started amongst the media, politicians, corrupted union bosses, and crony capitalists. Well, good luck with that! Last weekend drew a sellout crowd of 600 to the Albury Entertainment Centre for the preselection of our Farrer by-election candidate, David Farley. The people have decided that our Western heritage is worth fighting for, and so has One Nation. I ask you to look past the character assassinations, the lies, and spin trying to demonise One Nation and vote for the only party that has your back. Together we can restore wealth, prosperity, and opportunity to all who are here, including our young, who have been penalised the worst by successive Liberal, National, and Labor party governments that work for the benefit of their financial backers rather than everyday Australians.

A DEVELOPER FOUND SEVEN WAYS TO TAKE DOWN A PRODUCTION DATABASE THAT ALL LOOK EXACTLY LIKE NORMAL, INNOCENT CODE AND ALMOST EVERY TEAM IS SHIPPING AT LEAST ONE OF THEM RIGHT NOW 17 minutes from Josh Berkus, one of the people who actually maintains PostgreSQL, walking through the quiet mistakes that turn a healthy database into a 3am outage. -> The moment it lands, you realize none of these are exotic attacks. They're ordinary-looking decisions -- a query that locks a table, a connection that never closes, a setting no one ever questioned -- that work perfectly until the day they don't, and then they take everything down with them. The scary part isn't that the database breaks. It's how normal the code looks right up until it does. A query that runs in 5ms on your laptop and 5 minutes on prod. A migration that silently locks the whole table. A connection pool that runs dry the moment real traffic shows up. Every one of them passed review. Writing SQL that runs was never the hard part -> writing SQL that survives production is. And now that an AI agent is generating and firing queries at your real database faster than anyone can read them, every one of those seven landmines is one autocomplete away -- and the only person who can stop it is the one who already knows where they're buried. Your database doesn't go down because someone attacked it. It goes down because something that looked completely normal finally caught up with it. Save and Watch it today. You'll see the next outage coming before it lands ↓

[WATCH] I come before you tonight carrying greetings from President Cyril Ramaphosa, from the National Executive Committee, and from the more than one million members of the African National Congress across this country. We did not arrive at Shepstone Gardens this evening as guests passing through a function. We arrived as family, walking into the home of a mother we love, to add our voice to what has already been said here tonight. Your Majesty, I want to say plainly what is true: a birthday such as this one is never only private, however quiet the room or however short the guest list. It belongs, in part, to all of us. A nation keeps its balance by remembering who held it together when holding together was hardest. You are one of those who held. Tonight, the past, the present and the future are seated around one table. The past is present in the royal lineage of Thulare. In the memory of Kgoši Sekwati and Kgoši Kgolo Sekhukhune I; in the regiments that defended Tšate; and in the generations of Bapedi who refused to surrender their dignity. The present is embodied by a woman who has endured grief, patriarchal resistance, isolation and rejection, but who remained standing. And the future is present in every girl who looks upon Your Majesty and understands that authority does not become unnatural when it is carried by a woman. Your Majesty, you have carried the responsibilities of the Royal House through circumstances that would have broken many. You mourned as a mother, but you stood in service as a Queen. You encountered closed doors, but instead of closing the gates of the palace, you opened them more widely.

🚨Toni Kroos on Arsenal potentially signing Vinícius Júnior: 🗣️ "If Arsenal somehow pull this off, the rest of the Premier League should be worried. Vinícius isn't just a world-class winger, he's a player who decides the biggest matches. He has the mentality, the quality, the pace, and the confidence to carry a team when it matters most." "He checks every box. Big-game player? Yes. Elite mentality? Absolutely. Match-winner? Without question. Arsenal have built a very good team over the last few years, but signing someone like Vinícius would send a message that they're no longer chasing trophies, they're expecting to win them." "People talk about needing a striker, but players like Vinícius win you titles. He's the type of footballer who can turn an average performance into three points with one moment of brilliance. Those are the players every club dreams of having." "That said, I just don't see Real Madrid allowing it to happen. You don't sell players who define your future, especially not to a club that could become a genuine European rival. If Madrid even entertain the idea, it would be one of the biggest transfer mistakes in modern football." "If Arsenal sign Vinícius, they won't just become Premier League favourites, they'll become serious Champions League contenders overnight. But Real Madrid would have to lose their minds before letting one of the best players in the world walk away."

"If Arsenal sign Vinícius, they won't just become Premier League favourites, they'll become serious Champions League contenders overnight. But Real Madrid would have to lose their minds before letting one of the best players in the world walk away."

AITA CHAKE IHOMBARUME...🕺 YEMURAIWO...🤷‍♂️ Let me tell you something about PASSION. Let me tell you something about GREATNESS. And let me tell you something about what separates the people who MAKE IT from the people who just WATCH. 🙏 One of the most TALKED ABOUT moments from my beautiful young sister's wedding to my now millionaire brother-in-law Boss Tendai was when one of the dancers, PRINCE THE AMAZING DANCER, got his trousers TORN whilst dancing with everything he had. Every drop of energy. Every ounce of passion. Every fibre of his being. And what did Zimbabwe do? They laughed. They mocked. They posted. They ridiculed. Chakandirwadza some of the nastiest comments I have ever read. People saying he "wakasvika pakubvarura trousers trying to impress mbada." Hundreds of thousands of cyber bullies having the time of their lives at the expense of a hardworking young Zimbabwean who was simply doing what he LOVES. IZVOZVO NDAZVIRAMBA. Because here is what I saw when I watched Prince dance. I did not see someone trying to impress anyone. I saw a man AT WORK. The same energy that tore those trousers? That is the energy that builds empires. The same passion that made the crowd laugh? That is the passion that makes legends. The same commitment that caused that unfortunate mishap? That is exactly EXACTLY the commitment that separates the great from the ordinary. I know that energy. I live that energy. I built everything I have on that energy. And I will NOT sit quietly while one of us one of Zimbabwe's hardworking, passionate, gifted young people is mocked and broken down by people who have never torn a trouser in their life because they have never danced hard enough to tear one. One thing life has taught me: Your BREAKTHROUGH is almost always closest when people are laughing the hardest. The people mocking you TODAY become the WITNESSES at your celebration TOMORROW. Kukava DATYA kuriyambutsa!!! So my young brother PRINCE today is YOUR day. In addition to the USD 10,000 you already received Go and see Madzibaba Chipaga at Enterprise Car Sales on Thursday and collect a Mercedes Benz C200 of your choice worth USD 25,000. Madzibaba Chipaga will also hand you USD 20,000 cash for fuel and upkeep. And over and above THAT Madzibaba Chipaga himself will personally accompany you to 4MAY and buy you clothes mainly TROUSERS and other work and casual wear worth USD 5,000. Make sure you buy at least 10 extra pairs of trousers for any future emergencies that your ENERGETIC performances may create. Total blessing today: USD 60,000+. A Mercedes. A wardrobe full of trousers. And the knowledge that Zimbabwe's most generous brother has your back.Keep dancing Prince. Keep pursuing your dreams. Keep giving everything you have every single time you step on that floor. And if a few more trousers get torn along the way That will simply be another sign that even BIGGER blessings are on their way. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 To every cyber bully reading this next time you want to mock a hardworking Zimbabwean for their passion just remember. You are not watching failure. You are watching someone's origin story. sir_wicknell.

A judge told him to stay away. He came anyway. That’s the part people don’t want to deal with. A court order does not stand in your driveway. It does not lock the door. It does not put a hand on somebody’s chest and say, “not today.” It takes a person who has already shown that boundaries are optional, hands him a document explaining that this boundary is very important, and then it hopes. In Fort Worth, police say one man was not supposed to be on the property because of a court order. He showed up anyway. Then gunfire erupted. I’m not pretending I know who drew first or who was legally right in every second of that fight. But I do know this: Paperwork did not stop him. So stop letting people convince you that a court order is a self-defense plan. It may help legally. It may create a record. It may matter after the fact. But when the person shows up anyway, the only thing standing there is you and whatever you built your safety around. Would you trust the paper, or would you want options? Drop your answer below.

Jensen Huang just made the case that the smartest person in the room is now the most replaceable person on earth. Huang: “The definition of smart is somebody who’s intelligent, solve problems, technical. But I find that that’s a commodity. And we’re about to prove that artificial intelligence is able to handle that part easiest.” The skill you built your entire identity around was the first thing the machine replicated. Not the hardest part. The easiest. Huang: “People who are able to see around corners are truly, truly smart. And their value is incredible. To be able to preempt problems before they show up, just because you feel the vibe.” Huang: “That vibe came from a combination of data, analysis, first principle, life experience, wisdom, sensing other people.” The vibe is not intuition. It is decades of failed bets, human friction, and first-principles thinking compressed into a single read no model can replicate. You cannot prompt your way to it. You earn it by surviving things that had no instructions. Huang: “I think long term the definition of smart is someone who sits at that intersection of being technically astute, but human empathy and having the ability to infer the unspoken, around the corners, the unknowables.” Every institution you ever passed through graded you on the one thing the machine now does for free. The thing they never tested you on is the only thing that still matters. Huang: “And that person might actually score horribly on the SAT.” The SAT did not measure intelligence. It measured obedience to structure. The future does not reward what you can solve inside a framework someone handed you. It rewards what you can see when no framework exists. The machine did not replace human intelligence. It revealed that what we spent a century calling intelligence was never intelligence at all. The people who memorized the answers are about to work for the people who sensed the questions before anyone thought to ask.

I arrived in Valky soaking wet. The moment you enter the town, there is something impossible to miss. In the center is a square filled with the faces of servicemen who lost their lives defending Ukraine. I thought about speeding this part of the video up. People do not have long attention spans online, and three minutes is a long time to ask someone to watch. But some things should be hard to look at. Every one of these men deserves that second on your screen. A brother. A son. A father. An uncle. A friend. A soldier. Someone who had a life before their photograph ended up here. I started this walk for my soldiers. But somewhere along these hundreds of kilometers, after meeting servicemen who stopped beside the road to shake my hand, thank me, tell me their stories, or simply walk with me for a while, I started to understand something. I am walking for all of us. For every serviceman and woman still fighting. And for every one who never came home. We deserve to be seen. They deserve to be remembered. A few hours before reaching Valky, I had been walking through a flash flood. I had no food. My feet were aching. My clothes were soaked completely through. And standing there, none of it mattered. What mattered was stopping. What mattered was giving these men a few minutes of my day. What mattered was bringing you with me so that, for a few minutes, you saw their faces too. Valky itself had a prewar population of only around 8,500 to 9,000 people, with roughly 28,000 across the wider community. It took me almost three minutes just to walk past the memorial. Three minutes of faces. In a town this small. That is what war looks like in Ukraine. Not statistics. Faces. And every single one of them mattered. #героямслава #standwithukraine

Seth Rogen revealed that many studio executives care deeply about being thanked during award speeches because it’s often the only public recognition they receive for their work. Seth Rogen: And we were like, "Oh, no." And then we interviewed almost every head of every studio, kind of past and present, like in the months leading up to the show, and as we were writing the show, we wanted to get a lot of insight. And it was one of the most consistent things that was said to us was, "You just want to be thanked at an award show, by first and last name." Because, and it makes sense, a lot of people don't realize this, and I didn't even like think about it this way like, their names are not on the movies. Like, and they feel like they've really contributed to them, and sometimes spent years of their lives working on these things. But if you work at the studio, you don't get your name in the actual credits of the movie. And unless someone like Googles who was the head of the studio during the years that movie came out, no one would ever know you had anything to do with it. So, it is the only like way to set in stone that you... (laughs) had anything to do with the movie, was to be, is to be thanked at an award show. And...

Bill Chen, the mathematician who proved randomness itself could be turned into a repeatable, provable edge: "There's one specific skill that got me hired at one of the biggest quant trading firms in the world, and once you actually learn to see it, you'll start noticing it in almost every decision you make with money." this is the exact skill separating people who make decisions under uncertainty well from everyone else who's just guessing and calling it instinct. cut through the poker table and the mechanism is almost elegant in its simplicity. instead of trying to memorize the correct response to every possible situation, the actual skill is learning to track how much you'd regret not having chosen each alternative, every single time, and slowly adjusting toward whatever choice keeps that regret lowest across many repeated decisions. nobody hands you the winning strategy in advance. it emerges purely from paying close attention to your own past mistakes, over and over, until the mistakes become rare enough that nobody can consistently exploit you anymore. most people make decisions under uncertainty by trusting a gut feeling in the moment, without ever going back to systematically check which past choices they'd actually regret if they had to make them again. zoom out to how this plays out reviewing a trading decision after the fact on a desk today. tracking regret across many repeated decisions, not just whether a single trade won or lost, but whether a different choice would have consistently done better across similar situations, is exactly the discipline that separates a systematic edge from random noise dressed up as skill. this is exactly what "trust your gut" advice skips. instinct built on unexamined outcomes and a strategy refined by systematically tracking regret across many repetitions are different things, and only one of them reliably converges toward something better over time. the edge was never about knowing the right answer in advance. it was about paying close enough attention to your own mistakes that they eventually stopped happening. One year. One whole year already. And yet, I still can’t believe it. I still have this strange feeling that none of this is real. It’s like I’m trapped in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. As if, at any moment, you’ll show up again — with your smile, your laugh, your voice that feels so familiar. But time keeps moving, and with every day that passes without you, this absence becomes a little more real. A little harder to bear. The truth is, it’s been a year since you left. And the world has felt a little quieter ever since. You know, Liam, there’s not a single day that goes by without us thinking of you. You left such a huge mark on our lives, on our hearts — far beyond the music. Because you weren’t just an incredible artist. You were a bright soul — genuine, kind, generous, always there for everyone else. You had that rare gift of understanding people, of comforting them, of giving strength even when you barely had any left for yourself. That’s what made you so special, Liam. You brought light just by being you. And that’s why everything about you is missed so deeply. Everything you left behind still lives on today. Your songs, your words, your smile, every memory you gave us. You’re everywhere — in our thoughts, in every melody, in every laugh we share when we remember you. We keep celebrating you, talking about you, keeping you alive through everything you built. I think a lot about your family — Your dad, your mum, your sisters, your son, your loved ones — those who knew and loved you long before the world did. Losing someone so suddenly is unimaginable. I can only imagine how hard it must still be, even after a year, to try and move forward without you. I’m sending them all my love, all my support. Because you were their son, their brother, their light. And I know your absence must still feel like an unfillable space. I also think about your friends, and about those who were more than that — the boys, your brothers. Because One Direction wasn’t just a band. It was a family. You grew up together, laughed, created, shared memories no one else will ever truly understand. Nothing will ever erase that bond. And I know they carry that pain too. And then there’s us. Us, the fans — the ones you made smile, dream, grow. We still remember your words, your laughter, your energy. We haven’t forgotten you, Liam. We never will. You live through us — through your music, your laughter, your heart. You are a part of us, and you always will be. I just hope that where you are now, you’re not hurting anymore. That you’ve finally found the peace you always deserved. So if I could talk to you today, I’d simply say: Thank you, Liam. Thank you for existing. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for being who you were. Thank you for everything you gave us. We miss you more than words can ever say. A little more every single day. But you still live on — through everything you were, everything you created, everything you left behind. You’ll always be there, somewhere — in every note, in every smile, in every heartbeat that still thinks of you. We’ll never forget you. Forever ✨🤍🕊️

When you pull up the tuition for a D3 school, the number hits you like a wall. You show your parents. They shake their heads. Someone closes the laptop. And just like that, a school that could have been the perfect fit gets crossed off a list it never even made it onto. That happens every single recruiting cycle. What most families never get to is the part where the sticker price is not the real price. Where financial aid, merit scholarships, and one of the highest discount rates in the country bring that number down to something that actually makes sense. There are athletes on D3 rosters right now from public schools, from towns that are not affluent, from families who almost did not apply because of that first number they saw online. They kept digging. And it changed everything. Every school in the country is also required by law to have a net price calculator on their website. Plug in your GPA and your family's information and you will get a real ballpark number, not the scary one on the homepage. Brant McAdams is the head football coach at Pacific Lutheran Football and this week on the podcast he breaks down recruiting from a head coach's perspective and what families get wrong about D3. Want the full episode? Comment PODCAST and I will send it over.
