I've had plenty of conversations with Spo where we probably didn't want to talk to each other, but it was necessary. After reviewing the Kirby Smart timeout deal… Auburn DB was clapping (simulated snap). Smart wanted a penalty and was clapping to official but eventually called a timeout. Head ref knew clapping should be a flag so he didn’t charge timeout. Ball reset.

🧸 about the donation... i did it because i wanted to. rather than talking too much about it or saying this and that, it's just me making a donation because something unfortunate happened before my birthday. i felt heavy, so i wanted to express my condolences. 🧸 it was just something i've done with good intentions, so i hope you can take it as it is. there was no other meaning behind it, it's just something i wanted to do to express my feelings. 🧸 so we had discussions beforehand. i didn't tell the members about it, i just consulted with a small group of staff at the company and brought the idea of making a donation up to my parents. they were really happy about it, that's why i went ahead and did it with conviction.

Mark Daigneault didn't call his first timeout in Game 3 until around halfway through the second quarter despite some big punches thrown by the Suns. I asked Mark about that decision and deciding to stick with his guys and allowing them to figure it out on the fly. “I trust our team, and if we can't handle tough situations, then we're not gonna do very much. So we gotta be able to fight through it, and we did. Doesn't mean I'll never call a timeout. But I thought coming on the road it was good just to get a little exposure to that and have to grind through it and the guys did a great job of it today.”
