Doc was asked about benching Ryan Rollins: "Something we've talked about for a couple weeks. Especially against [the Raptors], the reason we did is because they put so much ball pressure, we wanted to split [Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins] to make sure we had 2 fresh guards on the floor all the time. I actually liked it. Our numbers with Scoot and Ryan have not been great together."

After reviewing the Kirby Smart timeout deal… Auburn DB was clapping (simulated snap). Smart wanted a penalty and was clapping to official but eventually called a timeout. Head ref knew clapping should be a flag so he didn’t charge timeout. Ball reset.

I've had plenty of conversations with Spo where we probably didn't want to talk to each other, but it was necessary. I always wanted the ball, he always wanted me to play defense, Harder, faster, stronger. I wanted to score more points and more shots but that can't get out in the media. He always had an open door policy and I always made sure I challenged that. We still felt the way we felt about each other and about the game, if its about winning, you'll find that middle ground"

🧸 about the donation... i did it because i wanted to. rather than talking too much about it or saying this and that, it's just me making a donation because something unfortunate happened before my birthday. i felt heavy, so i wanted to express my condolences. 🧸 it was just something i've done with good intentions, so i hope you can take it as it is. there was no other meaning behind it, it's just something i wanted to do to express my feelings. 🧸 so we had discussions beforehand. i didn't tell the members about it, i just consulted with a small group of staff at the company and brought the idea of making a donation up to my parents. they were really happy about it, that's why i went ahead and did it with conviction.
