SOURCES ARE TYING IT TO A RICO CASE. Homeland Security Investigations agents have been at Omar's Washington, D.C. home since just after 6:00 this morning. A DOJ spokesperson confirmed they're executing a judicially authorized search warrant as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Fox's Lawrence says his sources told him the search is connected to a RICO investigation. That's the law built to take down organized crime. Remember, a federal judge had to sign off on this warrant. DOJ can't just decide to search a congresswoman's home on a whim. Omar hasn't commented. Nobody knows yet whether agents are also at her home in Minnesota. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. Not even a sitting member of Congress.
