Mike didn't love the Xbox Showcase this year.

8/10. Can't surpass every previous year everytime. That's unsustainable. No Everwild, no Contraband, no new Zenimax MMO reveal. Lots of stuff that was disappointing. But new Double Fine? Clockwork looks stellar, several new Asian games that look sick. New gaming OS? Hell yeah

He’s not wrong. SGF this year feels like the bad last years of E3.

Yeah mike was in his cups or something. Not loving it is one thing. A 5 or a 6 is crazy. Ton of 3rd party games coming to gamepass. New first party reveals from double fine and obsidian. It opened week and closed in a dumb way but this show was at minimum a 7.

Between Sony, SGF and Xbox, I think it was the best of those overall.

To be fair he hates XBOXs new direction and has shown disappointment all year. This is an extension of that.

Yeah I tend to agree with Mike. It was a decent show with a flat end. But to have no news on stuff like State of Decay or Fable is odd. And the fact MS made a vid of Phil saying those games are coming shows they knew that as well.
