Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like 'he' is taking the credit for the 4 or 5 goal scoring opportunities, but then blames 'the players' for missing them!

With same coaches & players nothing will change next season..no reason to keep Dodds/Proctor..the new head coach needs his own staff & free rein to decide which players to keep/release/sell
