Had the bill passed, it would have made it unrealistic for migrants to risk their lives and everything else to reach our border, paying $8000 to smugglers, only to be deported in a few weeks. It's not that hard to grasp, is it? In essence, Greene's assertions seem to reflect a strategy aimed more at political grandstanding to seek attention than at fostering a genuine understanding of the complexities and necessities of legislative leadership.
