@hbcharlesjr I learned this illustration, which was simply called The Hand Gesture, in 1976. Here is a link to it being used by the pastor of the church I attended in 1978-79.

Too bad his right hand was the active agent in the transfer in his illustration.

Unfortunately, this explanation of the gospel contains none of the teachings of Jesus the Christ. Jesus never conveys that we are born under “original sin” or that his blood is required to pay the price for our sins. This was NOT the gospel that Jesus shared.
