According to U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), yesterday, SOUTHCOM’s Joint Task-Force Southern Spear conducted two strikes on vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Groups in known narco-trafficking routes. Per the release, in the first strike, two narcotics-terrorists were killed while one survived, and in the second strike three narco-terrorists were killed. Following the strikes, U.S. SOUTHCOM notified the U.S. Coast Guard to begin search and rescue operations for the one survivor.
