Dillon Danis explains his motivation for taking the fight against Mike Perry: “At the end of the day, I don’t think there’s an MMA fan or journalist who could say that fighting Mike Perry is not respectable. There is not a person out there who doesn’t respect Mike Perry and say he’s a tough fight. Throughout my career, I’ve had guys always say I’m taking easy fights or fighting guys I shouldn’t be. But at the end of the day, with this one, what can they say? No one’s bringing it to light that I’m 3-0, and for my fourth fight, I’m fighting a veteran who’s had 15 fights in the UFC, is on a roll, and just knocked out Nate Diaz.”

Firefighters from Station 36 had their work cut out for them today when they spent 1.5 hours trying to locate a family cat that had been missing for 3 days in the 1800 block of Thornecrest St. The cat got into the ceiling 3 days ago but, through the use of a thermal imaging camera, Firefighters were able to determine that the cat fell down a shaft and was at the bottom of a wall near the front door. The cat was safely extricated and there will be some minor drywall repairs to be done.🐱🚒
