Mike Tyson’s Punch Out Nintendo, 1984.

This one was actually 1987. The punch out arcade version from 1984 did not feature Mike Tyson.

This video is from 1987.

I played the sh!t outta this game.

84? Thought it was a little later 🤷🏻‍♂️

007 373 5963 is the code to Tyson

1987 boss

No way that game worked! He didn't blow in the cartridge first!!! 😁

I love the power glove. It’s so Bad.

Surreal watching Mike Tyson playing against Mike Tyson in Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

Glass Joe mfs... I kicked his ass .. took a while, but... success is possible. The ghost tanks and this... childhood complete.

This might be the best game ever made.

No chance this is 1984, guessing the arcade game was 1984. Pretty sure it was 87 for NES release.

Tyson was only paid $50k for this 3 year endorsement, Nintendo made $1 billion from this game!!

1987

Mike Tyson wasn't even champ in 84 🤔

NES wasn't even released in the US in 1984

1984? 🙄

I beat him once. r k

0073735963 - games were so fun Man this commercial just brought a lot of great memories back.

Mike didn’t blow on the cartridge though, how did it just work?

Nintendo didn't even release until 1985 I believe

Sodapopinski was a beast back in the day, then the Sandman after that. Gotta get past them to line up the champ 😄

“He who has ears, let him hear”

I wonder if Mike Tyson 🥊 ever beat Mike Tyson 🕹. . .🤔💭

That game came out in '87

87, cmon man.

I also play NES shirtless with 40 monitors.

Must be the one and only video game endorsed by an athlete where he is the final boss and not the playable character.

cool😎

Heck Yeah!

Don't at all remember this commercial

This commercial is very well done. The laugh at the end got a little chopped up in post but it stillworks.

1987

Clocked so many hours on this game! I am confident that I could probably sit down and mental muscle memory would take me past King Hippo.
