🚨 | Mikel Obi on Kobbie Mainoo “Press-resistant, composed, sees the game two steps ahead...Kobbie’s special. He’s got that Pogba-at-19 type ceiling. The difference? Pogba had Juve. Kobbie might just explode if Amorim rebuilds the culture at United"

United fans and over hyping their academy graduates. How many times have our talents disappointed us. Mainoo is not mobile enough to play CM, anyone who watches alot of football would notice that but becoz most of our fanbase watch highlights they don't know.

I still think he can play in that pivot if we get the right profile next to him

🚨🎙️ Fabrizio Romano on Kobbie Mainoo: “Talking about Manchester United, I wanted to mention how HAPPY everyone at the club is with Kobbie Mainoo. It’s about Michael Carrick. It’s about the club. In less than one year, basically eight or nine months, EVERYTHING has changed around Kobbie. Remember, in the January window, before Ruben Amorim was fired by Manchester United, Kobbie was almost going on loan to Napoli. The deal was really concrete and very advanced. Then United changed manager. Michael Carrick arrived and Mainoo immediately became a CRUCIAL part of the project. Now, United are delighted with Kobbie. He signed a new deal, he’s considered a big part of the present and future project, and the player is also very happy. So life has completely changed around Kobbie Mainoo, and at the club they’re convinced this was a really smart move. One of the crucial things Michael Carrick did wasn’t just about the results or what he achieved during his six months as interim coach and then permanent coach — it was how he managed the Kobbie Mainoo situation. That was SUPER appreciated by the club, and even more so now as Kobbie is doing very, very well.” #MUFC

🔴 Rio Ferdinand on the Kobbie Mainoo vs. João Neves debate: 🧠⚽ 🗣️ "I have never seen a game where Kobbie plays and he’s off it. Whenever I see him play, I’m always reminded of the legend Clarence Seedorf. He is a top talent for Manchester United. But Neves is also an incredible talent a guy who is good at absolutely everything. It’s a tough decision, and it’s hard to pick between the two." Between Kobbie Mainoo and João Neves, who do you think is the better midfielder?

📹🚨🗣️| Fabrizio Romano on the situation with United and Ruben Amorim: “The situation is really tense behind the scenes between Ruben Amorim and the management. Ruben Amorim is not happy with the process of United in terms of bringing in new players. United were in for Semenyo, but he decided to go to Man City. For United in this moment it’s not easy to find replacements for players who are wanted like Joshua Zirkzee and Kobbie Mainoo. At this moment the market at United is on standby. Amorim is not so happy about that.” #MUFC

🚨 Pep Guardiola on watching Kobbie Mainoo against Ipswich town: 🗣️ Pep: “Kobbie is an exceptional, exceptional player. Against Ipswich, you could see he was free, he wanted the ball, he controlled the game, and most importantly, he enjoyed playing football” “For a long time, he was misprofiled by Rúben Amorim and asked to be a player he is not. Because of that, people started to look down on him. No, no, no. That was a big mistake.” “When you understand Kobbie and allow him to play his game, you see the quality. The intelligence, the personality, the calmness. You see everything” “When i was at Manchester City we watched him when he was very young in the academy, before he committed his future to Manchester United. He had exactly the profile we admired at Manchester City” “For me, Kobbie Mainoo starts for any club in the world. Any club. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth.”

"I think Kobbie played well, to be honest, it was just more of at that stage of the game, we were trying to make something happen. "Kobbie understands that, I've spoke to him after the game about it and he's absolutely fine. He's all about the team and what's best." Michael Carrick on boos when Kobbie Mainoo was subbed off from the away end, who he says were unbelievable all the way through today. #MUFC

🚨🗣️ Amorim on playing Kobbie Mainoo up front: "It's nothing against Rasmus [Højlund] or Josh [Zirkzee]. "Sometimes the team scores goals by creating situations to use the right characteristics - it doesn't mean that if you play with two strikers, you are going to score more goals." #MUFC

Kobbie Mainoo still on the bench at this World Cup is actually criminal This boy cooked Mac Allister in that midfield against Liverpool and they’ve got him watching Andersen? Be serious Tuchel! United fans know what we’ve got — give our kid the start he deserves! 🔥 #MUFC #WorldCup

📹🚨🗣️| Fabrizio Romano on what could’ve potentially happened in Manchester United’s January transfer window: “I think at the end Kobbie Mainoo was going to leave Manchester United if Ruben Amorim ended up staying at the club. Napoli were in very advanced talks with Mainoo, but Napoli had some limitations with the market and then Michael Carrick arrived and changed Mainoo’s future. Wilfred Ndidi was offered as an opportunity to Man United. Ndidi was keen on the move, but Man United decided immediately not to proceed. There was a possibility in Italy for Harry Maguire. An Italian club were prepared to pay a transfer fee for Maguire in January, but Man United and Maguire both said no to the opportunity.” #MUFC

🛑🗣️📢 | “Where Was Your Zidane?” — Jamie Carragher Challenges Scholes Over His Previous Kobbie Mainoo Praises. Jamie Carragher: 🗣️| “Scholesy, you told us Kobbie Mainoo was the closest thing to Zinedine Zidane. So explain this to me—if he’s that special, how couldn’t he force his way into this England team and save us from that embarrassment?” Paul Scholes: 🗣️| “That’s a poor argument, Jamie. Whether Mainoo starts or not is the manager’s decision, not a measure of his ability. A coach picks players based on the system and tactics he wants to play. Sometimes top players miss out because they don’t fit the game plan—not because they lack quality.” 🗣️ “Kobbie Mainoo is still one of England’s most gifted young midfielders. He’s calm under pressure, comfortable receiving the ball in tight spaces, carries it through midfield, and makes intelligent decisions. More importantly, he’s already shown he’s a big-game player. The quality is there—the coach just has to be informed enough to know when those attributes are exactly what’s needed.” 🗣️| “And Jamie, while we’re talking about opinions, you once said Casemiro should leave football before football leaves him. The season before, he was one of the Premier League’s best midfielders, and he was also an important player for Brazil at the World Cup. Football changes quickly. Form, tactics, and coaching decisions matter. They don’t suddenly erase a player’s quality.” 🔴What’s your take on Paul’s response?💬⤵️
