"My father's rich. My mama's good looking, and I can play the blues." - Miles Davis

👌

Do you have 60 seconds? Speaker Johnson is requesting your response to a few questions about President Trump. READ NOW:

"Listen, my father's rich, my mama's good looking, right? And I can play the blues. I've never suffered and don't intend to suffer. " ~Miles Davis, jazz great. Composer, virtuoso trumpeter, bandleader.

Why'd you capitalize the word black, but not White?

impressed by his tolerance

Miles Davis was just straight up a genius. All there is to it.

Miles’ dad was a dentist & his mum a music teacher. He grew up on a 200-acre estate & farm, where he hunted & rode horses. He went to Julliard Idk if this makes a difference to his music, but if he’d been a white English rock star, I guess we’d assume it would. In England anyway

Remarkably stupid interviewer.

Typical N.

Discard the clichés 💯
