Miley singing ‘Islands in the Stream’ directly at Dolly Parton 💔

Best cover by a country mile.

Did Miley look at Shawn Mendes at least one time? 🤔

No connection between the two, he's looking at her but she's just focusing on herself

Shawn Mendez was a horrible choice for this duet and it would have been better with just Miley at that point 😭

Good singing, but there is not the chemistry that Kenny and Dolly showed in their performances.

Girl you was acting like you were all alone on stage. What’s his name?

Would have loved it if someone like Luke Combs or maybe even Luke Bryan had done this cover with her instead of Shawn Mendes.

So good but nothing can beat how cute Kenny and Dolly were. They had so much chemistry and charisma!

This is one of my favorite songs since childhood—Dolly performing with Kenny Rogers. Such a great legacy to carry on, with sooooo muuuuuucj LOVE.

This was terrible. Miley did not look at her partner once.

Miley forgot it was a duet and grandstanded unfortunately. She has a great voice, if she was going to be unsupportive of Shawn as a duet partner she might as well have done a solo.

She’s great here. Who is the boy band reject larping the Kenny rogers part?

not the best rendition, trying too hard and not singing “together “

Miley has the best legs in showbusiness and one of the best voices too

The dude is as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

One of my favorite Dolly songs

Miley never looking at Shawn 😭🤣

Miley’s vocals are powerful and in tune. But something is still off. I have in mind something like the difference between a trumpet (Miley) and a flute (Dolly). The analogy isn’t perfect but it’s the best one I can come up with.

Miley has a beautiful voice-I know Dolly had to be so proud to hear her sing this but also I can tell Dolly knew how wonderful Miley is so I’m sure she wasn’t surprised how beautiful it turned out. Going to miss Dolly so much. Never met her but she has a place in my heart forever

pretty sure she was singing with that kid from pickering ontario, canada, shawn mendes

Nope, completely lacking in the warmth and chemistry of the original. She has a good voice, but it sounds strained here.

He’s just there for harmony. Hope she left some money on the nightstand for him. LOL

Miley brilliant. The other dude may aswell have been me up there.

Written by the BeeGees. Everyone knows that.

Could argue her voice is best suited for country music.

Zero chemistry between these two. Unlike Dolly & Kenny.

You are as sweet and special as your amazing Godmother. God bless you.

Miley, you were SO BLESSED that Dolly was your Godmother. I'm so sorry. The entire Universe is sad. Sleep in Heavenly peace Mrs Dolly😪

Shaun ruins it

We will always love you Dolly. Sending hugs to you and your family Miley in the difficult time.

Wonderful. Good choice to have Ronson playing the guitar.

Love this version. Miley and Shawn sound great together.

She has a beautiful voice Miley. My condolences to her and her family. Dolly Parton was a Treasure. 🙏❤️❤️🙏

This song is how I was introduced to Mrs Dolly.
