🚨 BLAIR BOMBSHELL: SCRAP NET ZERO NOW! “THERE’S NO LOGIC TO IT!” 🔥 Tony Blair Demands Starmer Scrap Milibands Mad Expensive Green Agenda Immediately‼️ Blair has just shredded mad Miliband and the entire net zero agenda. There’s zero logic to it! Asked directly for total clarity: “For total clarity, are you advising Keir Starmer to rip up Ed Milibands green energy targets?” Blair bluntly replied: “Yes I am!” He explained that the 3 biggest emitters in the world today are China, America and India. Together they “account for just over 50% of global emissions.” All are pursuing cheap energy. They still do renewable energy. “China for example builds more renewable energy than the rest of the world put together.” “It just means that the lens from which they judge policy is cheap energy.” He rightly points out Britain’s emissions are “under 1% of global emissions” so we can’t solve climate change. And says he “doesnt understand the logic behind” imposing costs on businesses and consumers to pursue net zero when the rest of the world is not doing so. He says again he doesnt understand why we’re shutting down North Sea oil and gas industry in circumstances where no other country in the world is doing that if “they’ve still got a requirement to import energy from oil and gas”. It costs way too much and “is not the right priority!” Net zero is not saving the planet. It is economic self-harm. Blair has just blown the entire agenda apart.

Asking Ed Miliband What commitments were secured at COP30 from the countries responsible for the highest amounts of carbon emissions - China, America & India - to reduce their emissions, given their leaders Xi, Trump and Modi couldn’t be bothered to attend? Or did those countries fail to commit to reducing their carbon emissions and to phase out their use of fossil fuels allowing instead the Secretary of State to walk his ideological path of net zero which is destroying the UK’s industrial and manufacturing base and pushing our population into poverty with ever higher energy bills? Amazingly he said he didn’t agree with the second part of the question! Doesn’t he see what is happening in the country? Doesn’t he know the cost of energy in the UK?

A new paper by USC's Harry DeAngelo and climatologist Judith Curry calls Net Zero "a harmful and unnecessary goal," writing: "There is no credible evidence of an existential threat from global warming." They point out that Earth has warmed about 1.3C since the 1800s, and during that warming humanity has grown healthier, wealthier and more productive than ever. The authors warn that abandoning fossil fuels would cripple food, steel, cement, plastics and global supply chains, producing huge costs and no measurable benefit. They point out that even if the US cut emissions to zero today, the temperature effect by 2100 would be less than 0.2C--statistically undetectable. The real threat isn't climate. It's reckless energy policy.

Last night, the Senate voted on my motion to scrap net zero and put cheap, reliable energy first. Labor, the Greens and the crossbench voted it down. And the Liberals? Cowards. They had the notice. They had the time. And they still ran for the exits. Not one of them had the guts to stand and be counted. Only One Nation is united in standing up for Australian families, workers, and small businesses. Net zero is hammering our economy. Power bills are out of control. Manufacturing is being wiped out. And ordinary Australians are paying the price, while out-of-touch politicians and inner-city idealists push fantasy policies they’ll never have to live under. One Nation is doing what the major parties won’t, standing up for the people. If you're fed up with being ignored, you’re not alone. We’re with you and we’re not backing down.

Britain is in an Energy Emergency. But the Government is FAILING TO ACT. They have no plan, no idea what to do, and they’re leaving us exposed. So today we’re launching The LFG Emergency Energy Bill to SAVE OUR INDUSTRIES and GET BILLS DOWN Here’s how it would get bills down IMMEDIATELY: 1️⃣ SCRAP all levies on energy bills. These stealth taxes on the British people are unnecessarily hiking up their bills by hundreds of pounds. 2️⃣ REOPEN THE NORTH SEA, and directly deploy the tax revenue generated to GET BILLS DOWN. 3️⃣ Stop new CfD contracts and launch an investigation into the system that signed them off. Last year, billpayers paid £1.5 billion for big renewable corporations to THROW ENERGY AWAY. By 2030, it’ll be £8 billion. The existing settlement is a national scandal. 4️⃣ Scrap Clean Power 2030 targets. These needless constraints have pushed civil servants to procure wind at any cost – and at huge expense to the British people. 5️⃣ DITCH the duties of energy regulators, NESO and Ofgem, towards Net Zero goals, so their only focus is to MINIMISE ENERGY COSTS, subject to security of supply. 6️⃣ Hold auctions for connecting to the grid, and directly deploy the revenue generated to GET BILLS DOWN Our Emergency Energy Bill has cross-party support. It is ready to PASS IMMEDIATELY. It does what governments for the past 20 years didn’t – it takes RADICAL ACTION to SAVE OUR INDUSTRIES and GET BILLS DOWN. There’s no excuse. Last week, the US suspended access to some of the world’s leading frontier AI models. Britain is vulnerable - and our energy prices are strangling our national security. We cannot afford to be at the mercy of other countries or events beyond our control any longer. The Government needs to GET BILLS DOWN NOW or explain why they’re still letting this emergency destroy our future. Force Westminster to ACT. Send our Bill to your local MP and sign our letter to the Prime Minister and Ed Miliband. GET BILLS DOWN, NOW!

We’re the world’s most energy rich country yet we have some of the highest electricity prices. We export our energy resources while skyrocketing power bills and taxes ensure the flow of money from everyday Australians' pockets to the carpet-bagging predatory billionaires behind the net-zero fraud. Climate scammers fear the net-zero tide is turning. The public is waking up to this economic suicide and seeing the climate agenda for what it is - a corrupt globalist ideology and wealth transfer scheme. The latest unhinged meltdown from the Greens has nothing at all to do with rising temperatures. It has everything to do with fear of political irrelevancy. I was pleased to hear the Liberals and Nationals speak supportively three times on our motion, but disappointed that not one member of those parties were in the senate chamber for the vote. The message is clear and the backlash globally is now growing: Australia must cancel net-zero or the cost will be ruinous. #NetZero #ClimateBoiling #ClimateScam

🚨 TRUMP WEIGHS IN ON STARMER RESIGNATION DRAMA AND SAYS NET ZERO IS KILLING YOUR COUNTRY! “Should he stay or go?” Trump: “That’s up to him. But I told him from day one, you’re getting killed on energy. You’re windmilling your country to death! Open up the North Sea! You have one of the greatest sources of energy in the world. Open up the North Sea!” Trump didn’t stop there. He hammered that the UK and Europe are being “very very hurt by immigration” and the results are impossible to deny. Skyrocketing energy bills. Blackout fears. Streets that no longer feel like home. Factories closing while windmills spin uselessly in the North Sea winds. Trump called it exactly right. If Starmer had listened instead of pushing the same failed globalist playbook of open borders, net-zero insanity, and energy surrender, he might not be staring down the barrel of political oblivion right now. Britain had the North Sea oil & gas jackpot. Instead they chose virtue-signaling windmills and mass migration.

I asked a simple question in the House today: freedom of navigation through one of the world’s most critical energy routes matters to Britain, to our allies, and to global stability. The question now is simple: will we act, within international law, to defend it if necessary? There seems to be some confusion on the Labour Government backbenches that somehow the Government has kept Britain out of this war. The truth is we are not out of it. Our bases are already in the firing line. Our allies are already in the firing line. Britain cannot pretend we are somehow separate from the risks that come with defending international security. When the Chancellor earlier today spoke about the importance of the Straits of Hormuz, and the necessity of taking action where appropriate, does that mean the UK will, and under international law can, take action if Iranian threats against tankers and shipping in the Straits of Hormuz continue?

Starmer’s pathetic deflection on energy bills and the cost of living crisis is getting embarrassing and very tiresome. Keir’s out here AGAIN whining that Ukraine and Iran conflicts are the “biggest impact” on Britain’s cost of living and sky-high bills. Yes, those conflicts are real, global, and largely out of any PM’s hands. But here’s what’s infuriating: as Prime Minister he never, ever mentions the giant self-inflicted wound staring him in the face — Net Zero! He and Ed Miliband could scrap or slash the green levies and targets tomorrow and bring bills down immediately. Instead, radio silence. Energy bosses themselves told Parliament that green levies are a major reason bills stay punishingly high and even if wholesale gas prices crash, those costs won’t vanish. Businesses, households, and even some politicians have been screaming this for years. This isn’t bad luck from foreign wars. It’s deliberate policy choice by Starmer and Miliband. They own every extra pound on your bill. Stop hiding behind international crises and do something about it!

Push for net zero is 'meaningless': Friends of Science president Ron Davison Even if accomplished, the push for net zero would achieve a miniscule 0.7 degrees reduction in temperature, Davison asserts. When it comes to pushing back against hysteria over climate change, few do it better than the Friends of Science. The organization says the societal and policy focus on climate change and carbon dioxide is misguided, suggesting instead that climate fluctuations are driven more by natural phenomena — cycles and influences, ocean cycles, and naturally changing atmospheric oscillations. And while humans do contribute to climate change, we adapt and innovate to these changing patterns, an approach Friends of Science advocates for in contrast to the government's push for low-carbon policies and taxes. Rebel News caught up with Ron Davison, president of Friends of Science, at the Global Energy Show in Calgary, where we spoke to him about the issues surrounding this contentious topic. The key questions regarding climate change are “what the magnitude of the change is and why the change is” happening, he says. With focus heavily on CO2, Davison says his position is “that we should have more CO2 going out into the atmosphere, as long as it's just CO2 and water.” Other chemicals going along with it, that's a danger, he adds. Even if accomplished, the push for net zero would achieve a miniscule 0.7 degrees reduction in temperature, Davison asserts. “You can't measure it, it's meaningless,” he tells Rebel News. “Ultimately, we need the oil and gas industry — and coal too, it'd be great, we don't have it anymore. But if it's clean emissions, it benefits everyone.” As activists continue to drum up alarm and attempt to shut down industries crucial to Canada's economy, Davison points to a book published by Friends of Science called Energy and Climate at a Glance. “It takes a lot of the points on energy and climate and distills them down to a couple of sentences, but with the technical backup to a link with a 100, 200, 300-page report from reputable institutions.” Prime Minister Mark Carney's government has thrown “a lot of nice words” around, Davison says, but he remains skeptical about any major changes from Carney's Liberal government compared to Justin Trudeau. “We need energy. And that includes renewable, geothermal — whatever, where it makes economic sense,” he says. “We just should not be having this energy transition forced upon us when we can't afford us and it's not going to make any difference in the end to the temperature.”

“Remember when first campaigning to be elected, the Albanese government said it would reduce power bills by $275. Surely the slogan ‘Fire the Liar’ has relevance to millions of Australians? Was it a lie to campaign in 2022 on the slogan ‘A Better Future’? Is this how Australians feel today? The cost of energy feeds into everything we use, eat and manufacture. Food is dearer, housing is dearer and rent is dearer. There is your cost of living crisis. Albanese lied to become elected, and Australians are paying for it.” The cost of energy feeds into everything we use, eat and manufacture. It is central to why the cost of living is such a struggle for so many Australians. Remember when the Albanese Government said it would reduce energy bills by $275? Remember when, in 2022, it campaigned on the slogan "A Better Future”? All lies. Through net zero, the Albanese government has fuelled cost of living struggles for everyday Aussies. One Nation will scrap net zero, make full use of our natural resources, and engage with nuclear energy. All steps that would make a decisive contribution to bringing down your energy bills.

Australia sits on world-class coal, gas, uranium — and we’re too bloody stupid to use it. Instead, we export it dirt cheap to China and India, then go broke chasing “net zero.” 🔻 Australia = 1.2% of global emissions Even if we hit net zero tomorrow, it wouldn’t change a thing. China and India will still burn our coal — and laugh. They don’t believe the climate cult. They know net zero is a slogan, not a solution. But our government? They’ve been trojan-horsed by green ideology — pushing climate lies to gain control, not protect the environment. 💸 Power bills exploding 🔋 70% of green infrastructure is foreign-owned ➡️ You’re paying more, so profits can go offshore Meanwhile: 🪓 We shut down baseload power 🔪 Machete attacks rise 👶 Kids are told there are 52 genders And no politician has the guts to say it. Want to fix this? ✅ Build coal and gas plants ✅ Tax exports — use it to slash bills ✅ Deport violent migrants ✅ End woke ideology in schools ✅ Put Aussies first We light the world… and sit in the dark. The world is laughing — and they should be.

Wolfers: For nine out of the last 10 presidencies, if you’d said, “How much should we blame the president for what’s going on with the economy right now?” I would have said that the president is just one factor among many. That’s what I would have said nine out of 10 times. This is the 10th time. There’s literally no question about the cause of the current oil price spike. It is that we decided to go to war in Iran on an open-ended, ill-defined mission, and we’re not quite sure what to do. The Iranians took over the Strait of Hormuz, and now the global economy is substantially fractured and global energy markets are in disarray. There’s no question about what caused that. We know that because we actually saw things get a little bit better in June during the ceasefire, but those happy days are behind us. There’s also no question that tariffs are a complete own goal. They’ve led to higher prices paid by Americans. And that, I think, explains why, if you look at the United States compared to our peers in the G7—think of these as other economies that are kind of like, if the U.S. economy had mates, this is who they’d be—comparable large industrialized economies, the United States right now has higher inflation than any of them. We’re number one, but it’s not one of those good number ones. And let me just add: it really does hurt my heart because we know how not to screw things up. Any economics textbook, anyone who’s taken introductory economics, would know that there are large economic costs to going to war. They would know that starting a global trade war in a chaotic and incoherent fashion is all downside and no upside.

🚨 Conservative MP Harriet Cross TORE into Labour’s energy policy in the House of Commons. 🔥 While Norway’s own Labour government is busy issuing new North Sea oil & gas licences and expanding drilling to secure its energy future, Britain’s Labour government has banned new licensing here at home. The result? British workers fly to Norway for oil jobs, and we pay billions every year to import Norwegian gas from the very same North Sea basin we refuse to touch. Harriet nailed it in the Commons: We’re shutting down our own industry, exporting jobs and cash, and making ourselves more dependent on foreign energy, all in the name of “net zero” virtue signalling. This isn’t environmental leadership. It’s national stupidity.

🚨 Australia’s fuel crisis isn’t “just bad luck, or “due to the Iran conflict”, it’s the direct result of net zero climate policies. The media in Australia are quick to blame the Iran war for empty diesel pumps and soaring prices. But that’s only the spark. The real fire was lit years ago by climate policies that made domestic refining unviable. Australia once had 8 oil refineries. Thanks to the Paris Agreement, net zero targets, the Safeguard Mechanism (their carbon tax/credit system), and tightening emissions rules, most shut down. Now they have just 2 left — both needing subsidies to survive. Australia imports ~90% of its fuel and sits on only ~39 days of petrol, ~29-31 days of diesel, and ~30 days of jet fuel. A huge, car-and-truck-dependent country with fragile supply chains. The same mechanism is at work here in Britain. Our North Sea oil and gas producers face 78% effective taxation through the windfall/energy profits levy , explicitly designed to disincentivise carbon-intensive activity. Investment has collapsed, companies have left, and we’re more exposed than ever. We still need diesel for tractors, trucks, mining, and freight. Without it, food doesn’t get to shelves, supermarkets empty, and economies grind to a halt. This isn’t abstract “climate action”, it’s self-inflicted vulnerability in energy security and food security. Australia is the warning light flashing for the UK and Europe. The war made it urgent, but the weakness was baked in by net zero ideology that prioritises carbon credits and emissions targets over keeping the lights on and the wheels turning. The smart move? REPEAL the damaging targets. EXIT or renegotiate the Paris Agreement. Prioritise domestic energy production and realistic reserves. Put affordability and security first, before shortages become the new normal here too. Australia is living the future net zero is building for all of us. We should be paying attention, not just blaming foreign conflicts. What do you think? Is it time to put reality before ideology? #NetZeroReality #EnergySecurity #AustraliaWarning #UKFuelCrisis

Brad Lander will bring an intense climate doomer agenda to the House. Last year, he said that because Wall Street pumped the brakes on ESG, "global policy" to tax and/or ban combustible energy (no mention of nuclear) will be necessary for his Net Zero agenda. "A global or a U.S. or a U.S. and European price on carbon would be great, or genuinely mandated policies of transition and conversion." "Anybody that is playing footsie with Donald Trump at this moment is responsible for burning the planet down." "The red states are squawking and they scare people politically, but I honestly haven't met one -- and that is leading folks like BlackRock and State Street and JP Morgan and many others to draw back, to leave Climate Action 100+ -- I haven't talked to one finance leader who believes it. Those finance leaders see the same climate landscape as the scientists do. And there will be some political costs from the squawking, but if you share this analysis -- that if we don't reduce fossil fuel emissions, we will burn up trillions of dollars in shared value -- then you should act based on it."

Miatta Fahnbulleh: High Bills Have Nothing To Do With Net Zero 🤯 How can anyone take this woman seriously after she said that? It’s obviously false and she knows it. She’s the Energy Secretary for goodness sake! To be fair to Jon Sopel, he did challenge her quite strongly on The News Agents. She just repeats the talking points and lies with a straight face. Jon says Britain accounts for less than 1% of global emissions. Other countries will look at this and decide the impact of Net Zero on energy costs just isn’t worth it. Miatta says other countries are transitioning. Her two examples: France with nuclear, Norway with hydro. Then Lewis Goodall hits her with an inconvenient truth: “Norway is not stopping exploring oil or giving new licences in the North Sea. They’re using that revenue to power the transition, so why don’t you?” Miatta: “Quite. But my point is every economy that was smart saw the direction of travel and made sure they were diversifying their energy mix. We did not do that, leaving us exposed to global markets.” She completely ignored the question because it exposed her. Norway are not powering their economy on hydro. They’re still drilling and issuing new licences, exactly as Lewis said. They know how important fossil fuels still are. And we import a huge amount of that gas. Norway is our biggest supplier — around two thirds of UK gas imports, most of it coming straight down North Sea pipelines. We buy what they keep producing. So why aren’t we drilling and issuing more licences ourselves while we transition? Jon then goes at her properly: “What you have done is you have contrived an energy policy which wins huge approval among university-educated Guardian readers, but has resulted in the working class paying far more for energy than anyone else in Europe. It’s a policy that sounds great that makes liberals with their SUVs and their second homes feel great about themselves but has left a lot of ordinary working people a lot worse off.” Wow. What happened to Jon Sopel! He put it straight on the Energy Secretary. It’s just very expensive virtue signalling and he’s right. Her response shows she’s not fit for the job: “It’s nothing to do with Net Zero!” Absolutely astonishing she can sit there and say that. She talks like she’s speaking to children as well. Reminds me of Kamala Harris. Same tone. Same hand gestures. It’s VERY annoying. Remember energy bosses told MPs it’s the green subsidies having a devastating effect on bills. Even if wholesale prices fell through the floor, bills would still stay high. So no matter what happens on the “global markets”, people will keep paying through the nose. That’s because of Net Zero. We’re doomed with her in charge of energy policy.

The Liberal Party’s Green Delusionist can’t help himself… Mr. Guilbeault can’t seem to let go. The global facts on energy consumption, human development economics, population, and the environmental impact of Canada’s cleaner natural gas on the global coal-fired grid make his falsehoods on peak oil and pipeline capacity obvious. His years in Environment featured a 90% miss on emissions reduction, the burning down of Jasper after years of warnings to his failed Parks team, and the end of his punitive, hated carbon tax by a PM desperate to win an election by running as a conservative. So Mr. Guilbeault is lashing out. It shouldn’t be necessary to state the obvious but given the lazy press - and the fact that this climate fraud remains in this Cabinet full of the usual suspects that killed our economy for a decade, here is global energy in three simple charts: 1. FACT: Global energy demand and fossil fuel use is relentlessly rising. The world is using more of every form of energy including coal, oil and gas. 2. WHY? Because the greatest humanitarian human development moment in world history has been the energy intensive promotion of 1 billion people out of grinding poverty into the middle class in China, India and across Asia the past three decades. This is what is causing vastly higher energy consumption and rising global emissions. 3. HOW IS CANADA RELEVANT IN THE PLANET? With only 0.5% of global population and vast land and energy resources, what can we do to impact global emissions? - Alberta has more oil than the USA, Russia and China combined. We have more than enough gas to supply the needs of 4 billion people in India, China, Indonesia and across Asia. - We have the capacity and economic and proximity advantages to structurally displace a large amount of the dependence on thermal coal on the electrical grid across Asia - Because the retrofit of coal to gas is straightforward, our clean gas can cut the global emissions off the electrical grid of 4 billion people, at a scale equivalent to 2-3 times our entire national carbon footprint. Canada has been so blessed with so much. We have in front of us one of the biggest opportunities in history: To enhance human economic development commercially, environmentally, and diplomatically with trillions of dollars in trade and the soft power of becoming a critical part of global energy security. While cutting global emissions at scale. So why are green ideologues like Steven Guilbeault so angry? Because it must be killing him softly that the #1 climate action and most profound impact of Canada on global emissions in the coming decade will be trade from Alberta to Asia by the very same entrepreneurs and builders whose only request for a decade is that Stephen Guilbeault and his sad dystopian punitive green worldview just get out of the way.
