Thanks for sharing. 🙏🙏🙏

वाह 👌

That's the greatness of R.D. Burman. He converted the mistake into a milestone 🙌

Pancham da , kishore kumar etc Remain Relevant throughout their lives...But , A R Rahman finished in jus couple of decades. Sort of one can say "HIS OWN ARROGANCE HAS FINISHED HIM"

Incidentally saw the original Bengali movie “Nishi Padma” though it was black & white & Pushpa much less glamorous than Sharmila Tagore, it was clear that all actors in Amar prem have been inspired by it including Rajesh khaana by Uttam kumar

Of course.. even rajesh khanna had tried to copy uttam kumar in few of his remakes that time.. uttam kumar was something else.. even bollywood actors used to be in awe of him..

For a non Bengali like me & a fan of Amar prem, the almost 100% copying of Uttam kumar by Rajesh Khanna was eye opening

even Anurodh was remake of Uttam Kumar's iconic Deya Neya in bengali.. Uttam Kumar had a different aura altogether.. watch Satyajit Ray's Nayak (The Hero) starring Uttam Kumar.. must be streaming on youtube or somewhere with subtitles..

Thank you, I will, Bengali cinema is something else, have discovered it recently
