Milton Friedman on why the U.S. leads the world in higher education but ranks very low in K-12: “In higher education, the student chooses the institution, and the institution has to adapt to attract the student. In elementary and secondary education, the institution chooses the student, and the student has to adapt. Choice and competition is what makes the difference. We can’t let school fees hinder our children’s future. Every parish should have access to free education without financial barriers. The NRM's vision was to ensure every child could learn without the burden of fees, and we must return to that principle. I am happy with our training programs at the hub, but we are going to expand them to include motor vehicle engineering and ICT.
