100% inheritance tax?! Insanity. Great breakdown by Friedman. And so calmly and combined.

How dare somebody’s family want to keep family wealth. It’s so greedy. They should give it to me and other worthless dipshit dumb fucking commies because we deserve it, and we deserve it because we want it. That’s not greedy at all. Retard and commie are the exact same thing

These moronic boomers were allowed to spout this nonsense unchecked by their betters until THEY were the old “wise” people in academia, in media, and in politics. It will take generations to rid this country of these dangerous ideas. Socialism is cancer.

First, no matter what you believe about the question, you see a young person with a well articulated and respectful attitude and mind. Something so far from what we hear young people today. Stood and listened and learned something he didn’t know when he asked the question. We so need to get back to the fact based debate.

The Berlin Wall fell for a reason. It would be foolish to consider trying to rebuild it - and all it represents - today.

💯 The left always argues against what’s empirically evident. Their case rests on their own ideals, which are always at odds with the rest of society, not to mention facts. And without exception they are the ones who end up with the privilege, the power, and the capital.

If anyone has any doubts, we have the exact same percentage of people living in poverty now as we did when the War on Poverty programs started in the 1960s. Only now, we are trillions in debt and generations of people have lived in dependent squalor.

We need more Milton’s today. Are they out there but muted by media censorship? I hope we see the next generations of Milton’s here on X.

What Milton did not address in this clip is, assuming 100% confiscation of generational wealth, how is it then redistributed? Communists, particularly young communists, try to deny human nature. Government does not attract altruistic people. Government leaders are driven by the desire to accumulate power and control. Never in the history of man have government leaders redistributed wealth in an open minded and fair way. Government attempts to create outcomes based on visceral or more often overt bias. Open markets reward innovation and creativity. Government controlled markets reward patronage and political cronies. Open markets allow growth and prosperity. Government controlled markets produce oligarchs and serfs.
