Awesome explanation of how price controls do not help. If the price rises for eggs then more people will raise chickens. With price controls they might disappear when they cannot be produced except at a loss. Venezuela JUST had this happen a few years ago, so farmers turned to the black market, then gangs wanted a cut of the money, then they slaughtered the chickens and no more eggs for sale.

Half of the country probably doesn’t even know who Milton Friedman is anymore. They learn next to nothing in school.
