University of Houston quarterback Conner Weigman on knowing that his long college football journey is ending after this season at UH: "It gives you a sense of urgency. I mean, this is it. I'm giving this all I've got. The day after the LSU game ( in the Texas Bowl), I've been all in on this year. "I don't want to have any regrets. I want to play this game at the next level. So it's just giving me every opportunity to do that. Putting myself in the best position possible."

Mina Kimes on Lamar Jackson & the Ravens offense: "Last year, he had the fourth best pressure-to-sack ratio in football. This year, it's 31st. He is sacked 30 percent of the time when he's pressured. ... I don't think he's losing his athleticism. But I do think the offensive line, they're not as good as they were last year."

Brock Purdy’s teammate in college, Xavier Hutchinson, was asked if Brock is a Top-10 QB in the NFL: “Yeah, I don’t see why not. You have to prove it every single season, every single game, and that’s exactly what he’s done. I’m super excited for him cause I don’t even think this is the best that we’ve seen of him.” 🎥: Good Morning Football

Chamath describes Donald Trump: "I've seen some of the most incredible survivors, they have that one skill." "Oh, he's really inspiring. I mean, I have to say here that in my limited interactions with him, he's really curious. He's really smart. His intuition is off the charts. I'll tell you a very specific example. Had a meeting with him, I had a complicated-" "What were you pitching him?" "It's not a pitch. I was just walking him through some structural issues in this specific case and electricity rates, and you know, the underlying reasons why, which have more to do with the utilities, data centers, water consumption, and then some structural decrease in Americans' electricity, right? It's like a 15-page deck, and he's one of these guys where he's listening, he'll scan it, he's scanning it while he listens to you, and then he goes right to the one thing. And I have a lot of respect for this because I've seen some of the most incredible survivors, the people that have that one skill. They can go in and go to that thing, that little detail, that thread and pull it. So my experience with him is quite impressive; when I anchor him to the other people I've been with, he's really up there."

"In my opinion, [Lamar Jackson] is the best quarterback in football and I don't think it's particularly close... The quarterback's job is to move the ball down the field and score points... The last season he was fully healthy 2 years ago, they had 4,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing on offense and they're the first offense that's ever done it in the history of the NFL and it's because of him." Former Raiders Interim OC and Jets Pass game coordinator Scott Turner (Scott Turner) on Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.

Think he's gonna be a great player. ... Rookies coming in the league, every defense should feel that way. They're a rookie. ... Coulda put Stefanski at quarterback. Like, regardless, we have to play our brand of football. That's just what it is." via Baltimore Ravens

Charlie Kirk is inspiring spiritual awakenings in people who never cared before, who never believed in a god This is so powerful “So Charlie Kirk died 3 days ago, and since then, I have seen a lot of content from him that I've never seen before. A lot of it is him talking about his faith. And I've seen his content before, but only him debating the college kids. I've never seen anything else. I didn't even really know he's religious like that. And, brother, ever since he passed away 3 days ago, every time I see a video of him talking about his faith, bro, straight Water Works (crying) like I can't… It's almost hard to control.” “I've seen a lot of his other content, and none of it makes me emotional except when he passed away. That was really sad. But nothing else. For some reason, whenever he's been talking about God, I am just trying to not lose control. And I've had a few people telling me, like, maybe it's God trying to reach out to you, which sounds crazy to me because I've never believed in God, ever. I've always been like, that doesn't exist. It's not real. But it doesn't make sense. It's like, why would I get so, I'm not an emotional dude at all. So for me to get uncontrollably emotional about this thing that I don't even believe in, it's like, well, why is that happening? It doesn't even make any sense to me at all. So I got a Bible. I got this little thing right here. I don't know if it's the correct version. I've heard that there's a lot of different versions of it. I've heard people say that this is better than the other. I don't know — I guess this marks day one of me trying to read the Bible and see what it's about.”

LIV Golf have sold nearly 100,000 tickets for their first ever event in South Africa, putting it on track to comfortably be the best attended golf event ever held in the country. Charl Schwartzel spoke about the growth of LIV Golf since their inaugural event in 2022: “Yeah, I mean, that first event in June in 2022, there was a lot of turmoil in our sport, a lot of uncertainty. Obviously it was coming from guys that had come to LIV. Nobody was sure what to expect… “But from a LIV standpoint, it's been fantastic to be part of it, to see how it's grown, gotten better. Every year they improve. “We've had a taste of it every year in Adelaide, where you can see what it can be, because that's like the pinnacle of the LIV events. Now just to see what we've created here in South Africa, it makes you very proud to see. This is fantastic. “I don't think there's any -- there's never been a golfing event in South Africa that's ever been set up like this, and I don't think many sporting events here. This is really amazing, and it's sort of a great -- to have seen, and like I said, proud to be a part of it, that's what we thought and what we were told it could be when we signed up with LIV, and it's really come to life. It's amazing.” LIV Golf Adelaide is currently the premier event on the league attracting 77,000 fans in 2023 for the first playing and 115,000 this year. With LIV Golf South Africa immediately approaching 100,000 in the first season, there is a real rivalry between the two countries to be the biggest event on the LIV Golf League. Jayson Tatum on how Jaylen Brown is different now: “This season, he's been able to be in positions and moments of really just taking control — and moments throughout the course of the game, late game, he's just been able to really have those reps. Not that he didn't have them over the years that we played together, right? We won a championship, and he made big plays in every game that we've been in. But I think now, this season, he’s just been able to take more ownership.” “We all knew he could do it. It's just when guys get more of an opportunity, they get to show it.” (Q: Abby Chin)
