Mind = BLOWN. I’ve watched Back to the Future a million times and never noticed this insane detail. Marty McFly literally altered the timeline just by hitting that one pine tree. The attention to detail in 1985 cinema was unmatched. Did you catch this easter egg the first time around?

Not an Easter egg. A blindingly obvious plot element apparent to every child watching.

Yeah, also, be sure to leave out the 911 reference as clear as day

That's not an easter egg, it's a pretty basic part of the show. I caught it when I was 10 years old the first time I saw it in the theater, as did anyone else who saw it. Get over it.

I noticed it when I was 11 and saw it for the first time. I remember pointing it out to my mom.

Yea actually there was another reason for that, which was the real reason they did it, and it’s far more interesting

More obvious in big screen theatres…. extreme closeup when Doc first mentions “I remember when this was all farmland as far as the eye could see. Old man Peabody owned ALL of this. He had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees.” Then Marty travels back in time, and accidentally runs over one of Peabodys two pines. 1950s Peabody brandishing his shotgun screams “You killed my pine!!!” and shoots his own mailbox while the delorean races away. Only much later do we realize why that one pine left standing was relevant . “Lone Pine Mall”. ( Lone Pine is also a small town in California. ) The first 30 mins of the movie are loaded with foreshadowing easily missed. That’s also why many people went to see the movie more than once.

Wait till you find out about BTTF and 9/11…

Might be the time traveling movie that tells even a deep story

Hands down one of my favorite movies of all time and a favorite trilogy. Another legendary movie that I got to see in the theater as a kid. Can't say enough for things about this movie as it was made during a time where Hollywood still knew how to be creative.

Literally everyone knew this. Even before the internet.

This isn’t an easter egg, it’s just a detail about the movie you didn’t recognize until just now. It has no relation to work outside of this movie, therefore it’s not an Easter egg

Imagine spending years crafting a movie and hiding a joke so subtle that people are still finding it 40 years later. Absolute cinema.

Man do I have tons of nostalgia for this movie. Such a creative time back then for Hollywood. It's a shame how all of that is gone now and they only know how to do sequels and remakes that are terrible.

Millennial shocked by writers that remember what they wrote earlier. World shocked

Dude where have you been? I noticed that when I was twelve

Literally the first time I saw it when I was 9. This world is full of morons. Stop posting on twitter

Yes and when it was the twin pines the time was 1:16 which flipped and reversed is 911 Two Pines (Towers) then it became lone pine (One Tower) its called predictive programing

It was blatantly obvious when the name changed from twin pines to lone pine

I didn’t know it was possible to not know this

@GigglingGanon That mall sign is YOUR first sign. As his time back in 1985 goes on he sees all the other changes he made. This is referenced in 2 and 3, further tying it all back together

That's not an easter egg. It's a plot point that you were too stupid to notice for years.

This was one of the most obvious plot points. You have to be mentally deficient to have missed it 🤦🏻♂️

Wait. So when Marty goes back in time, he does things that change the future? Oh shit! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 What if Doc actually read the letter Marty wrote and that’s really what saved him? Holy fuck!!!! I wonder what would happen if Marty traveled into the future?

Did you know the time is 6:11 inverted 911 for TWIN pines Then 1:33 the LONE pine There we go again 33 Reminds me of a building

Mind = BLOWN. I’ve watched STAR WARS a million times and never noticed this insane detail. Darth Vader is literally the father of Luke Skywalker. The attention to detail in 1983 cinema was unmatched. Did you catch this easter egg the first time around?

In the 41 years since it came out, you NEVER noticed this AND NO ONE ever told you?

@HistorianUSA1 Yes Everyone did Delete your account

That's not what an Easter egg is.....omfg dude

@MagaGrunt1 Yes we all did
