Sure that will work but you’re putting all the stress on those cloth eyelets instead of dispersing it across your back. Plus if that was how robe makers wanted you to use them they would save money by making shorter belts. Just because you can do something doesn’t make it right

Mind not blown at all. Every time you take your robe off you have to remove it from one of the loops. Or pull your robe over the top of your head to get it off.
