CAMBRIDGE 1969 (FOR JOHN) Yoko Ono: I was asked to visit Cambridge University to perform my vocal work. As the date approached, they called me asking if I was still coming, since they knew that I had recently got married and didn't know if my plans had changed or not. "Tell him you're coming with a band," John whispered loudly from the side. John and I thought it was a riot, but we didn't know how they would take it at the other end of the phone. Was it alright to bring a rocker? But the guy held his ground well. It was Cambridge, so the greeting committee was cordial but cool. John took that in, of course. He joined me on the stage and played underneath my vocal. Maybe 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand'? That would have been cute. But instead he went in for the kill and played an incredibly creative avant-garde guitar that nobody in the world had ever heard before or since. The audience didn't react to it. I was probably the only musician who was totally impressed by it. But did I express my appreciation? John loved 'Cambridge 1969'. So for awhile, he always asked for it to be played when we were in the car. I just thought "Oh, not that one again!" "How about 'Yesterday'?" (a joke). And when I tried to play something else he wouldn't hear of it. CILLIAN MURPHY & JOHN LENNON/PLASTIC ONO BAND. Actor Cillian Murphy is known to be crazy about his music. A musician himself, his taste in tunes is widely celebrated, and he has gone on record a number of times to state his love for the Beatles and particularly their singer John Lennon. When it comes to Murphy’s favourite Lennon album, he can’t look beyond his debut solo album, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Murphy was asked what the best music he’s ever been recommended is. He replied, “So I’m a Beatles fanatic, a Beatles nut, and I have been ever since I was very young. My dad has been playing the Beatles since I was tiny.” He added, “I don’t know what age I was, and I don’t know exactly who it was, but someone introduced me to the Plastic Ono Band, the John Lennon record. It’s probably one of my favourite records of all time. Probably my favourite solo Beatles record.” The record was originally released back in 1970 on Apple Records. Reflecting on the particularities of the album, Murphy noted. “He was going through this kind of primal scream therapy at the time. He was just 29 or 30; they’d just broken up. Every single song on it is perfect and beautiful. Ringo’s playing the drums, Klaus Voorman on bass, and it’s got ‘God’, ‘Mother’, and ‘Isolation’, and I think it’s an underappreciated record, but I go back to it over and over again.” 📺→ 🎧→ Rolling Stone @FarOut The Beatles John Lennon

Origins of Whole Lotta Love, Jimmy Page came up with the guitar riff for "Whole Lotta Love" in the summer of 1968, on his houseboat on the River Thames at Pangbourne, Berkshire, England. However, John Paul Jones stated that it probably was developed from a live improvisation during performances of Dazed and Confused. Page denied that the song originated onstage and that he had the riff and the rest took it from there. The chugging riff sounds like twin guitars because Page is playing two guitar strings in unison, while bending one of them to slightly change the pitch. At the same time, John Paul Jones is using the same technique on bass guitar, doubling the guitar part in a lower octave. Page recorded his part while playing through a solid-state amplifier. During the two day mix of the Led Zeppelin II album, audio engineer Eddie Kramer discovered what he thought was some magnetic tape bleedthrough on Plant's vocals on the "Whole Lotta Love" track, which could not be removed, so he put some echo on it, and Page liked the sound. Page also employed a backwards echo production technique. Years later, engineer J. J. Blair analyzed the multi-track tape and found that the second guitar track contained traces of an earlier vocal track by Plant caused by microphonic induction of the guitar pickup. This thin-sounding vocal preceded the main vocal track in a manner similar to bleedthrough. It was released as a single in 1969 in several countries; as with other Led Zeppelin songs, no single was released in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it became their first hit and was certified gold. Parts of the song's lyrics were adapted from Willie Dixon's "You Need Love", recorded by Muddy Waters in 1962; originally uncredited to Dixon, a lawsuit in 1985 was settled with a payment to Dixon and credit on subsequent releases. Led Zeppelin performing 'Whole Lotta Love' live at The Royal Albert Hall, in 1970.

Trump’s CDC Director says Fauci’s wet market story was a “ruse” to bury the truth that COVID was a “pandemic CAUSED BY SCIENCE.” Fauci funded the Wuhan lab. Redfield says he has “no doubt in my mind at all” that COVID came from that very lab. MCENANY: "Dr. Redfield, you have several mentions in the Fauci diaries, and one of the mentions was this. And this was June of 2021. Dr. Fauci says 'Bob Redfield is out there spouting incorrect information, saying that he feels strongly that there was a virus that leaked from a laboratory... Another example of Bob Redfield being dead wrong.' What do you say to Fauci on the origins of COVID-19?" REDFIELD: "Well, Kayleigh, I think unfortunately, Tony was dead wrong on it. The whole issue of the wet market and natural spillover was a ruse to try to turn the attention away from the laboratory." "So I have no doubt in my mind at all that the origin of this pandemic was the research that was done in that laboratory, funded by the United States, supported by U.S. scientists. So if you really want to look at it, this was a pandemic that was not caused by nature or an act of nature." "This was a pandemic that was caused by science. And I think the scientific community, Fauci, Collins and others felt they had to protect science. And so they created this ruse to make people think that it came from nature. There's no doubt that in my mind that it came from the laboratory." "Steve Quay has a very good book, called The Code Is the Witness, where he takes across the trailer genetic code of the virus. And if you understand the virology, and I'm a virologist, there really is no other conclusion if you put the genome on the witness stand than to conclude that this virus was engineered in a laboratory."
