i put my concept for the song into gpt 5.5, asked it to research recent incidents and write the lyrics. then created the song and exported stems from suno 5.5. then got word timestamps from the vocal track using stable-ts . then made the video with remotion using claude code.

Are both vocals and music from suno?

yes both, the stems separation is probably also done by a model, see uvr5 if you want to expand this to any song.

Honestly I have been wanting to build a personal version of NotebookLM for a while but I haven't checked in with music and voice models for more than a year. So I am just surprised how well synced and pronounced this whole thing is.

What about the music? Did you try and sync them or just let them play as the stems were generated by suno?

i think suno generates the music+vocals in one go, so it just uses that file. i only needed the stems to get word timestamps and align the words in the video.
