Minimalism took away the glory

Old ones were rich peoples house's architectures. So if you want really to compare, you should look todays rich peoples houses.

Older architecture is definitely more beautiful, though modern design has its advantages too. You win some, you lose some.

Minimalism didn’t simplify life, it stripped it of magic.

Idk if it’s minimalism, or if it’s just easier and cheaper to make things that aren’t intricate formed and beautiful.

At what point did ‘minimalism’ stop being freedom and start being emptiness?

Sometimes less really is more

Yea simple was always better not gonna lie

The old library 😮‍💨 I would never leave

wow, everything that is shown in option 1 is very beautiful

I’m sorry that was an awesome downspout but most of us can’t afford $25,000 when a $200 aluminum spout does the same job. It’s a silly comparison. The vast majority of downspouts were utilitarian like the ones on houses today.

The beauty is in the simplicity ✨️

Devolution

Sometimes less isn’t more, it’s just… less. 🤷‍♂️

I think minimalism is appropriate in certain places but there’s too much nowadays imo

I prefer the old days

Vintage is always awesome.

The first option in every picture shown is great

We truly went backwards.😓

People used to be passionate.

History textbook: "With the evolution of the times and the advancement of technology, humans gradually began to eliminate ((✌️UNnecessary✌️)) construction processes to improve their life style..." Gov IRL:

In a bid to simplify, we lost glory

They could've made it simple, but they chose art & perfection. Good old times.

@gregcum84939928 True and the beautiful architecture of so many buildings.

CAPTALISM toom away the glory, exchanged for money and profit

Loss of human spirit and creativity, exactly that they want

The old version still has a better quality

We used to have style. Everything these days is engineered.

it’s becoming uglier

😬😬😬

What happened to our generation

We keep getting worse

Not everyone wants to spend $$$$ and months of labor on something that works just as well for far cheaper and quicker

Or maybe it stripped the noise so the truth could finally be heard.
