MiniMeters is a standalone app with a companion VST/AU/CLAP plug-in that can send audio to it. You can also get desktop audio on macOS Ventura or later, or Windows if you're not using ASIO in your DAW.

Is there any way to record the spectrum from the minimeters? :)

I would recommend the standard stuff like OBS or if you’re on macos just CMD-Shift-5. I am looking into a capture mode built in but it’s not my highest priority at the moment.
