Minor 007 First Light spoilers The Valhalla Protocol coming for the Tacsim looks 10x better than what we actually got in the game. We should have got something like this in the actual game!

I agree and disagree at the same time. Like yes obviously a big bond vehicle set piece would have been nice but Bond gets his 00 at the end of the game. He shouldn’t have even been inside the Valhalla at all before Q let him. Balls to the wall in action would undermine the story.

Room left to improve for the sequel but the story element doesn't really hold when he literally uses the car in the game, just doesn't go anywhere

Then what else do you want? That set piece was sick imo like doing donuts wrecking everything shooting bad guys is pinnacle Bond action. The car driving point A to B wasn’t the point in the context of the story. So it works in my book.

That was one of the biggest things missing from this game is the car chase but with Bond on the defensive using the cars gadgets to escape

One problem I have with the game is how they introduce something cool and... it just ends too soon. First it happened during skydiving moment

This absolutely should’ve been in the main game. Perhaps cut content. I was waiting all game for access to my Aston Martin, to swirl around in circles for 5 minutes shooting barrels. Disappointed, but maybe this will redeem itself.

Yea that is pretty much my problem with it tbh, they teased that you would get it and then what we actually got was lacklustre. But hopefully they improve that aspect in the next game.

@BonafideXP The whole game is a tease for a sequel. Now that he got his double 0, and the devs got their tech fleshed out, imagine what will be possible in the next game with gadgets and vehicles! 😍

I feel like they should have saved it for the next game instead of a tacsim update but then again we live in an era where it can take 6 years to get a new game, so maybe it's better this way.

The way this car is used in the story is very disappointing. You just spin around in a circle shooting at things. It's pretty dumb. There really should have been a chase sequence like all the other chase sequences with various vehicles throughout the game.

I’m going to assume we were meant to but it wasn’t ready and they didnt want to delay the game. That mission was 100% meant to be you blowing open the doors and starting a chase.

There was no place to put it narratively. The one place you could do it was an impromptu car chase where it wouldn’t make sense to have Valhalla

It’s obviously setup for the sequel. It’ll be used in the sequel. Must remember this was bond earning his “00” status. He’s not a crazy international spy that we see in the movies just yet. He hasn’t fully proven himself to MI6 and M and Q.
