🔥 MIRESI HAS A WHOLE WAIFU OFFICE SYSTEM?! 😭 Okay, this might be one of my favorite little features shown in the new TGS gameplay. 🏢 You have your own Councilor's Room, basically your personal office where you can invite characters to come and relax. 🛋️ They don't just stand there like NPC decorations either. In the TGS build, you can see Itsuka casually lying back on the sofa using her phone. ❤️ And it actually changes with Affinity. As your relationship grows, characters become more comfortable around you. Their posture becomes more relaxed and even the way they talk to you changes. BUT THE FIGURINE SYSTEM IS EVEN COOLER. 😭 📸 During combat, you can freeze a moment at the perfect time and capture your character in that exact pose. 🗿 That pose can then become a collectible figurine that you bring back and display on your desk inside the office. So yes, you can basically turn your favorite combat moments into your own little anime figure collection. 😂 There is also a deeper interaction involving the mysterious brands that appear on the bodies of time traveling characters, which you can help stabilize as part of their interactions and stories. I asked Luke Kornet about his memories from stretches where he was a DNP for many games in a row, and what his message is to the young guys who find themselves in that position now: “It's just a lot of peace to come to life of accepting the position that you're in and then just doing the best with that, versus trying to fight it and want to be in a different one.” “You can spend a lot of time worrying about things that you can't really control. But when you just take the opportunity that you have and do the best with that, you can have days like today where a lot of guys came in and were able to contribute. You can have peace about knowing that you did your job well, just as you did the day before, the day after. It might just look a different way every time. I feel like that's what I've been taught through my life. That's the only thing attitude that you can have that you can actually do something with – versus trying to control things that are outside of what you can control.”

I’m trying to figure out when the best time is to take advantage of the program. Dave: Well, the trick to knowing when to take Social Security is knowing when you’re going to die. Once you’ve figured that out, then you can calculate it precisely. Obviously, the longer you live, the better it is mathematically to take it later because you’re going to get a bigger check for a longer period of time. Caller: I was actually intending to invest 100% of it. But then I found out I don’t get the full amount if I start early. Dave: Yeah, you don’t. The later you start whether it’s 62 all the way up to 70 the more you get each year. But you can run the numbers on the Social Security website. You can look at your situation and say, “Okay, if I take it at 66 or 67, I get this amount. If I take it at 62, I get this different amount.” Then compare the difference. If you take every dollar you receive from 62 to 66 and invest it in a good investment, the returns can potentially make up that difference over the rest of your life. So if you’re going to do what you said you’re going to do take the money early and invest it. it can make sense to start earlier. Now, taxes come into play because you’re still working. I think I just found a TCG that is doing something REALLY interesting Origins TCG is basically what happens when you take the collecting side of Pokémon and combine it with fast, competitive card game gameplay. You can actually TRADE your cards on Steam. 💰 So you're not just opening packs, building a deck, playing a few games and forgetting about your collection. There’s an actual reason to care about the cards you own. And before you think “yeah, but I have to spend money to get started”… Nope. The game is genuinely FREE TO PLAY, and some cards can be earned without spending anything. The gameplay is fast, competitive, and easy to jump into, while the collecting/trading side gives it a whole different layer. I’m genuinely curious to see where Origins goes with this. Would you rather play a TCG where your collection is just a collection… or one where your cards actually have a life outside your deck? 👀

Tony Robbins on how to change someone who doesn't want to change: 1. People only change when they link enough pain to staying the same or enough pleasure to changing. Ideally, both at once. This is not a mindset shift. It happens in the nervous system, not the head. Your head can know exactly what you should do, and your gut will override it every single time. 2. Yes, you can change someone who doesn't want to change. But not by forcing them. You find the leverage that makes them change themselves. Everyone has a point that will get them to follow through. For some people, it is not even the threat of their own life. For others, it is their children. For others, it is spiritual growth. The leverage is different for everyone, but it always exists. 3. The food poisoning example. You used to love a food or a drink. Then one night it came back up with enough intensity and enough aroma that to this day you cannot look at it without feeling repelled. No willpower required. Your brain simply rewired what it links pleasure to. That is the entire mechanism of change in one story. 4. Scrooge did not want to change. He was certain he did not need to change. Three ghosts showed up and did one thing: they made him link unbearable pain to his past, his present, and his future simultaneously. When there is nowhere to escape, change happens in a heartbeat. Robbins calls this the Dickens pattern. Lock pain into all three time zones at once, and there is no exit. 5. People avoid changing by escaping to a different time period. If the present is painful, escape to a good memory from the past. If the past was also painful, invent a better future and escape there. As long as one of those three zones offers relief, the pressure to change dissolves. Removing all three exits and change becomes inevitable. 6. Problem is some people have accidentally linked pain to things they actually need: exercise, intimacy, and hard conversations. The association is wrong, but it runs their life anyway. The pull-up is the one exercise I see people quit on the fastest. They try a few, can't do them, decide they're just "not a pull-up person," and move on. But the thing is, strength is a skill. A lot of it is just your nervous system learning the exact movement, and your body only gets good at what you actually practise. That's why you can lift heavy on a barbell and still struggle to pull your own bodyweight up. It's a different skill, and it takes time. So no, you're not bad at pull-ups. You just haven't trained them yet. Start with regressions like slow negatives or banded reps, and try grease the groove method (thread below). That's exactly how a skill gets built. One day the bodyweight that felt impossible starts moving. Genuinely one of the best feelings in the gym.
