According to a press release issued by the Indian police, the attacker belonged to Hyderabad, Telangana, and it has been confirmed that his passport was issued by the Indian High Commission in Sydney. Holding Pakistan responsible merely on the basis of a name was part of a deliberate misinformation campaign. There is evidence of india sponsoring Terrorism in Balochistan and KPK provinces in Pakistan and also transnational assisnations like Hardeep Singh Najar in canada. Pakistan has remained a frontline state in the fight against terrorism, and after such immense sacrifices, running such a campaign against Pakistan is extremely unfortunate.
