Why can’t politicians just answer simple questions about their job? Sophy Ridge asked Defence Secretary Wes Streeting a straightforward question he should have been ready for. You’d expect the person in charge of defence to have a clear position on the spending target for his own department, yet he repeatedly dodged it. She asked if he agreed with his predecessor John Healey, who said he was certain Britain should reach 3% of GDP on defence by 2030: “Are you also certain about 3% of GDP by 2030? Is that a target?” Streeting: “I endorsed John Healey’s resignation letter wholeheartedly at the time. What you will see from Andy Burnham and John Healey as prime minister and chancellor is a commitment to make sure the defence investment plan is fully funded.” That’s not an answer. Sophy cut in: “I’m going to have to come in again. You are the Defence Secretary, do you believe in the target of spending 3% of GDP on defence by 2030?” He again referred back to agreeing with Healey and then talked at length about setting out “what we will fund and how we will fund it.” Still no direct answer. Clearly frustrated, Sophy tried once more: “I’m not asking you to set out how you’re going to fund it. I’m asking, do you believe in the target that we should be spending 3% by 2030?” His reply? He wouldn’t answer because the next question would be about how to fund it. That is a ridiculous reason to refuse a basic question about your own brief. Just answer it. Absolutely pathetic.

As part of Operation Sindoor, the Army was given 7 targets near the borders, and the Air Force was given 2, which were deep inside. The Army delivered fully. The Air Force achieved what they were assigned but lost nearly five fighter jets, including Rafale, according to Captain Shiv Kumar, our Defence Attaché to Indonesia. A Defence Attaché, is a high-ranking member of a country's armed forces who is assigned to an embassy or diplomatic mission in another country. Their role is to represent their country’s defence establishment abroad and manage military and defence relations with the host nation. *Why and how did we lose our jets?* When we started the operation, our political leadership tied the Air Force’s hands, saying they should not target Pakistani military assets, including their jets, as we were not crossing the airspace. This was in line with Dr. S. Jaishankar's call to Pakistan at the start of the operation, telling our enemy about our objectives promising not to attack their military targets. But the Pakistani Air Force had a free hand and targeted our military assets, including our fighter jets. Our pilots couldn’t retaliate as they were ordered not to do so by Modi, Ajit Doval, Rajnath Singh, and S. Jaishankar, who are clueless about military operations and strategy. This led to the loss of our jets. This is the strategic blunder the CDS referred to in his interview to Bloomberg. Within two days, our Air Force earned a free hand and they achieved the objectives, successfully destroying the targets, including Pakistani military establishments, as seen in satellite imagery. These self-proclaimed 56-inch buffoons are good at spreading hate, fakery, and buffoonery. They have no clue about statecraft or war strategy. Turns out, it's easier to run WhatsApp forwards than actual military operations.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the Military Exhibition organised by the Indian Army, where he closely observed the wreckage of Pakistani drones that were shot down by India’s advanced Air Defence Systems during Operation Sindoor. These hostile drones had violated Indian airspace over Rajasthan with malicious intent, but were swiftly neutralised by the Indian Army’s air defence network, showcasing India’s unmatched preparedness and technological superiority. The exhibition powerfully displayed how Indian forces remain vigilant day and night to protect the nation’s borders, especially in sensitive desert sectors adjoining Pakistan. South Western Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh was also present during the visit, briefing the Chief Minister about the operational success, surveillance capabilities, and the strategic importance of the region. This military exhibition not only highlighted India’s strong defence infrastructure but also sent a clear message to adversaries that any threat to India’s sovereignty will be met with decisive force. From radar systems to drone interception technologies, the exhibition reflected the Indian Army’s commitment to innovation, readiness, and national security. The display of destroyed Pakistani drones served as a powerful symbol of India’s air defence dominance and the bravery of its armed forces. 🇮🇳 India stands strong. Borders are secure. The Indian Army remains unbeatable. #OperationSindoor #IndianArmy #AirDefence #Rajasthan #BhajanlalSharma #SouthWesternCommand #LtGenManjinderSingh #PakistanDrones #NationalSecurity #MilitaryExhibition #BorderSecurity #MakeInIndiaDefence #IndianForces #DesertSector #IndiaFirst

I have reached Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh which is one of the largest state of India. I have met with Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Defence Minister and MP of Lucknow at his residence today along with Meitei Supporters. The reports submitted to him are: 1) To stop the terrorist activities done by Chin Kuki Narco Terrorists and Myanmar based Terrorists. 2) To stop external aggression as it is a national threat issue to every Indian. 3) The Meira Paibis was a symbol of women empowerment and guardians of Manipur. They play a major role in the society. The allegations made by some media house to the Meira Paibis that that they are providing hindrance to the forces are all void. 4) Our Meira Paibis was just trying to safeguard our motherland Manipur. 5) The meira Paibis just come out on the road as their near and dear ones could have been killed by kuki terrorists as many terrorists activities were carried out by kuki terrorists at innocent meiteis in different area. The state government also wants to end the SoO with the Kuki Militants. So, I urged the Union Defence Minister to end the SoO agreement with the Kuki Militants ASAP and implement NRC in quick time. The Hon’ble Union Defence Minister expressed his seriousness over the current crisis in Manipur. Rajnath singh also told that he is in contact with the Prime Minister of India most of the time to take up necessary action to bring back peace in Manipur . I also urged all the leaders to express the truth to the Central Government collectively and the only one’s fact can be known by everyone. I do agree that we must give respect to them. It's not the right time to follow all their statement with ‘Yes SIR ‘ . It's time to narrate all the truth and every leader must be known about what is happening in Manipur. If the central leaders don’t accept to our requests, lets do our measures together brave heartedly because we have to stand for our motherland . Yaipharey Ibudhou pakhangba na!

India’s $5 BN Nuclear Train India has developed a rail-based nuclear missile launcher system, publicly tested in September 2025 with the Agni-Prime missile, enhancing its strategic deterrence. This capability allows missiles to move undetected on India's vast rail network, blending with civilian traffic and hiding in tunnels. No verified reports confirm a "$5 billion" cost or label it a "secret nuclear train" as sensationalized in recent YouTube videos. System Overview The rail mobile launcher supports canisterised Agni-Prime missiles with a 2,000 km range, enabling quick launches from any rail location without preconditions. These self-sustained units carry warheads, logistics, and personnel, functioning as mobile bases to evade satellite detection. India joins an elite group including China, Russia, and North Korea with operational rail-based nuclear systems. Strategic Advantages Rail launchers boost survivability by dispersing assets across 65,000+ km of tracks, complicating enemy targeting and preemptive strikes. They support heavier payloads than road mobiles and integrate into India's nuclear triad alongside air, road, and submarine platforms like INS Arihant. The Agni-Prime, lighter and more advanced than predecessors, replaces older Agni-I/II models in the Strategic Forces Command. Development Context Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced the first test on September 24, 2025, confirming DRDO and SFC's success under full operational conditions. Earlier Agni variants (2,3,4) already used rail platforms since the 2010s, but Agni-Prime adds canisterised cold-launch tech for faster reaction. This bolsters deterrence against Pakistan and China amid regional tensions. Credit : The Echo.

🚨🇷🇺OCEANIC SHIELD: RUSSIA'S DOOMSDAY TORPEDO IS NOW AT SEA The Russian Navy has launched its most secretive and strategic submarine yet — RFS Khabarovsk — a nuclear-powered special-purpose vessel built for one mission only: to carry and deploy Poseidon (Status-6) nuclear torpedoes. What is Poseidon? 🔸A nuclear-powered, autonomous underwater torpedo 🔸Estimated range: up to 6,200 miles — intercontinental 🔸Capable of carrying a 2-megaton nuclear warhead — 100x more destructive than the Hiroshima bomb 🔸Runs at depths and speeds that make interception extremely difficult Putin himself confirmed its successful test in October 2025, calling it "a huge success" and saying "there is nothing like this” Khabarovsk — Poseidon's carrier: 🔸A nuclear-powered special-purpose submarine, quietly launched by the Russian Navy 🔸Designed to carry up to 6 Poseidon torpedoes in specialized side-mounted launch hangars 🔸Powered by a single OK-650V nuclear reactor 🔸Operates from protected bastion zones near Russian coastlines — safely out of enemy reach — while Poseidon autonomously travels to its target 🔸No countermeasure exists to intercept it Poseidon is Moscow's direct hedge against US missile defense, precision-strike capabilities, and low-yield nuclear systems that Russia views as a threat to strategic stability. Integrated with the Perimeter dead-hand system, Poseidon guarantees retaliation even if Russia's nuclear command and control is destroyed. Russia's plan, according to the US Naval Institute, calls for 30 Poseidons on 4 submarines — 2 for the Northern Fleet, 2 for the Pacific Fleet — with torpedoes in the Atlantic and Pacific capable of autonomously striking US port cities, far beyond the effective reach of any American torpedo. Multipurpose Deterrent — Poseidon is dual-capable, conventional or nuclear, and built to strike carrier battle groups, coastal fortifications, and critical infrastructure. The US has no standoff weapon to intercept Poseidon. The Navy retired Subroc in 1992 — its only long-range anti-submarine missile. Its replacement, Sea Lance, was canceled at the Cold War's end and never replaced.
