#Missionmonday 🦾 The @Space_station robotics flight control team recently replaced power components outside the ISS in order to get a better look at the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft coolant leak. The team used the robotic arm w/ a special tool attachment to swap out the power boxes.

@Space_Station That's a very precise job!! And now we know why we have to improve robotic devices... a years ago an EVA would be necessary, with a risk to humans.

A rocket damaged the only launch pad at Baikonur. The launch of the Soyuz 2.1a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS 28 spacecraft proceeded smoothly. The crew entered orbit and successfully docked with the ISS. However, damage to launch pad components was discovered on the pad. The lower retractable service cabin failed to retract into its protective niche and fell into the gas chute. Roscosmos stated that spare parts are available and repairs will begin quickly. If sufficient components are available, repairs could take approximately six months.
