Swami Avimukteshwaranand has been a common political worker since 2014 when he campaigned against Modi. Since then his appointment as Shankaracharya is blocked by supreme court, he has cared for Mukhtar Ansari too much, not attended Rammandir and now deliberately creating conflict. He actually gave interviews to Jihadi The Wire. I ignore such people now.

The Supreme Court decision to revoke TPS from law-abiding immigrants is the direct result of electing a racist president. Trump has been after Haitians since day one. Haitians deserve an extension of TPS and a real path to lawful status. I'll keep fighting until they get it.

It's a writ petition. We had to go to the court because, in our opinion, the investigation is not progressing. More than a year has passed since this incident occurred in Manipur's Jiribam district. Within the premises of the CRPF camp, those 10 tribal boys were killed after heavy firing. All of them were unarmed, and all of them sustained injuries which look like execution, and they don't look like combat injuries. All the entry bullet wounds are from the back side of the body, and it looks like they have been shot from the back. Heavy-calibre fire has been used, likely an LMG... No action appears to have been taken by the investigating agency, the NIA. The central government had ordered an NIA investigation. But nobody has been arrested...For now, the court has requested a status report on the progress of the investigation to date. The next date has been fixed for 12th January. In October, the Supreme Court will hear a case from here that could gut the Voting Rights Act and clear the way to end Black political power everywhere in America. Kevin Roberts, born and raised in Lafayette, built his foundation studying slavery in Louisiana and now runs The Heritage Foundation — the architect of Project 2025. Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise, both from Louisiana, run the U.S. House and are pushing that same agenda. Now Louisiana’s Attorney General has filed a brief asking the Court to strike down Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. If she succeeds, it could wipe out half the Congressional Black Caucus, erase Black legislative seats, and dismantle Black representation even in majority-Black cities — not back to 1964, but to 1877 at the end of Reconstruction. The Democratic Party should be camped out in Louisiana — not doing pit stops to check boxes. Every state isn’t shaping the nation the way Louisiana is. Ignoring Louisiana is how we got here.
