@Microsoft Mistral + Microsoft expanding for enterprises and regulated industries? Smart move. Frontier models with real control + air-gapped options is exactly what many of my clients need. Europe compute boost is a nice touch too. How are you seeing sovereign AI demand evolving?

@Microsoft That makes no fucking sense and it is worrying. - Sovereignty means putting Microsoft out. If not, it means washing not sovereignty. - Azure GPUs / Infra is always sold at Premium price. If it's your solution to scale up, it is not a solution, it is giving up.

@Microsoft Mistral is a rubbish model and @Microsoft is a pro-genocide corporation that doesn't respect human rights or its user's privacy.

😇🤣😇 Thanks for all @arthurmensch.

@Microsoft Sovereign AI routed through a US hyperscaler is data-residency, not independence. The frontier is capital-bound, so every 'independent' lab rents scale from one, turning sovereignty into a compliance feature. Mistral's edge is efficiency and regulatory fit, not autonomy.

European AI sovereignty requires more than local compute, because people must still be able to decide where to keep sensitive data and leave a provider without rebuilding the product. Compute matters, but what you need is to pressure European bureaucrats into giving you and other companies complete freedom, allowing you to compete at another level and enabling us Europeans to benefit from it.

@Microsoft "Expanding AI compute capacity in Europe" spans grids with a 7x spread in carbon intensity depending on country and methodology source. "Efficient" without naming the grid is a claim, not a measurement — that's the gap CarbonLayer tracks.

@Microsoft Hi @MistralAI, just wanted to report a bug. Speech-to-text keeps failing with the message: "Looks like something went wrong! We are sorry about that. Please try refreshing and contact us if the problem persists." I've already tried refreshing, but it's still happening. Thanks!

Dressing up an infrastructure dependency loop as a "sovereign cloud partnership" is an exquisite form of corporate spin. True architectural control isn't negotiated through Microsoft compute capacity commitments or geographic server placement. Moving a probabilistic model layer into a "fully disconnected environment" just creates an isolated chamber for the same hallucination drifts and cognitive entropy. Absolute data and logic sovereignty belongs strictly to Self-Evolving Distributed Runtimes that treat the model tier as a cheap, swappable utility commodity. You are building localized cages for the cloud cartel's property, while the decentralized engineering elite has already moved past the concept of vendor-bound networks. ☕️😏 #CloudArchitecture #HighLoad #SOTA #Kairos

@Microsoft Mistral vous étiez des précurseurs. J'espère vraiment que vous préparez une réelle innovation parce que ça devient urgent de concurrencer les chinois et les américains. Que faites vous ? ?
