Mitch Johnson on why it was so difficult for Wembanyama to get involved offensively in the first half: "I have to make sure that there's environments that the ball finds him. I think he's got to make sure that he can't rely on that to get shots as well.. But yeah 4 shots in the half on this stage is not acceptable." #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Here is video of Rory's full quotes on Bryson and the ruling. On the actual penalty: "I think there's no doubt that he improved the line of his backswing. Again, it's like, whether it was careless or whether it was intentional, I don't think it matters. Hopefully it was careless, but I think the two-shot penalty was justified for sure." Added this on everything that played out after the round: "I won't pretend to be up here and defend Bryson. I'm not particularly fond of him. I think a lot of it's performative. I think a lot of it's for attention. "To hold the tournament hostage like that, and to have all of us, players, volunteers, everyone waiting on him to depart, I didn't feel like it was a great look." When asked if he thinks Bryson knew what he was doing: "I'm not in his mind. I'm not in his -- but it didn't look good."

Gyokeres on his 2026 form: “Yeah, I don't know if it's one factor down to answer that question, but I think you come into the group even more. You get to know the players and everything around your life, I think, in general when you change club. “I think when you get into routine and everyday work and of course on the pitch as well to play together with your teammates game after game. I think it's going to become better and yes, done that.” On Saka: “I think he was very good on Saturday, and I think when he's in that form and he's playing like he always is, I think it's, of course, amazing for me and all the other guys to have him on the pitch.”

Ben Johnson on Rome Odunze's Performance Monday and so Far: "I don't say a word to him. He knows, catch the darn ball, and we keep it moving from there. So, nothing needs to be said in that regard. I would say that I think probably all of our pass catchers right now are all chomping a little bit to get fed a little bit more, and I think that's a good thing. It's on me as a play caller to make sure that they all are getting the ball distributed to them, and then our quarterback's got to do a great job. They got to continue to play the game and take what's given to them. I think it's more on me than anything else just to make sure that everyone's getting the touches that they deserve." Kenny on Harden: "On me -- he took two shots in the second half. I'll put that on me. I think the idea in the second half was to push the pace and try to play quicker, and get the ball up the court. ... Our offense is at a point now when him and Don should get off it, it should come back to them at some point."

CNN's Van Jones was not a fan of Zohran Mamdani's angry, far-left, rage-filled victory speech: "I think he missed an opportunity. I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Is he going -- is he -- is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office? I think he missed a chance tonight to to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp. I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling. And that's not the Mamdani that we've seen on Tiktok and the great interviews and stuff like that." "So, I felt like it was a little bit of a character switch here, where the warm, open, embracing guy that's close to working people was not on stage tonight. And there were some some other voice on stage. That said, he's very young. And he just pulled off something very, very difficult. And I wouldn't write him off, but I think he missed an opportunity to open himself up tonight. And I think that that will probably cost him going forward."

Chet Holmgren was pretty surprised when Michael Martin told him that he's 34 for 35 at the rim (97.1%) this postseason. I asked him what it means to hear something like that: "I think it's great. I pride myself on efficiency, and I don't think it gets much more efficient than 97%. But I also think I have so much room to grow in all of the areas on the floor. I think I can get even better at the rim, not necessarily efficiency-wise but diversity-wise. I've just got to continue to strive for that while also continuing to strive for what we're chasing as a team."

Anthony Smith isn't sure Ilia Topuria was prepared for Justin Gaethje to absorb his best shots and keep coming: "I do think that there was a level of underestimation for Ilia. I think he's just so used to finishing people that I think there is an element to being in that 2nd round and being a bit flustered and disheveled when he didn't get him out of there. He realized this guy is way tougher than I thought he was going to be."

"I think for the first part of the season, a fair number of games, I think we were a pretty stingy team with that collective effort, especially on the defensive side of the puck. I think we've lost a little bit of that just attention to detail and just collective play, cooperative play as a group. It's a whole lot more difficult to beat collective effort than it is to beat isolated effort. I think we're not quite connected like we were and that's what we've got to get back to." - Mike Sullivan

I asked Jaylen Brown about Sam Hauser for the three-point record and he started laughing: “It was terrible. I remember when Sam almost had the record when we were in Washington, and he hurt his ankle, and I didn't play that game, and I was in the back, and I was like, ‘Bro, you got to get back out there. I need you to get that record.’ And he was like, ‘Oh, it's gonna come back to me. That was two years ago…. It might not be another two years.” “But it was a joy to watch, man. We was all rooting for him. I wanted him to get it, but probably it was a little bit too much pressure on it.”

Austin Reaves on his interaction with the ref: "I felt like I was respectful to all of them all night. A million times in the past, I've said way worse stuff. And when we were doing the whole tip ball and they were switching spots, I wanted to get on the other side because they had a guy on the other side, was just trying to keep an advantage. And he turned around and yelled in my face. I just thought it was disrespectful. The whole time that was going on over there, I don't think he said much to them. I know Ben (Taylor) stepped in and said something. But at the end of the day, we're grown men and I just didn't feel like he needed to yell in my face like that. I told him that. I wasn't disrespectful. I told him if I did that to him first, I would've gotten a tech. I feel like the only reason I didn't get a tech was because he knew he was in the wrong. I felt disrespected"

Arteta on Lewis-Skelly's journey of the highs and lows: “I need to put the Myles Lewis-Skelly hat to understand how he's feeling. It’s a boy that he was playing with under 18s, 21s, that he wasn't even playing. He was playing a different position. “He comes in, he comes through. He plays in a completely different position that he's never played before. He's exceptional. Everybody's talking about him. He goes to the national team. He comes back from pre-season, and then it starts to realise that maybe it's not going to be a starter. “So you need to go through those emotions, not only you, but the people next to you as well, who are giving you advice. You have to navigate through that and that's not easy. “I understand that it's easy when it goes so well for you. When it goes the other way, the temptation is going to start to point to people. And I need to understand that. I need to guide him. And I need to give him my perspective. “The reasons why he wasn't playing that much, and he took it on board. Not the first one, after three or four times, I think he realised, OK, I think if it's not this way, I don't think it's going to happen.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna says Jeffrey Epstein was a 'DEMON' When Asked About the Spiritual Nature of his Crimes Against Children. "I think that he was absolutely a demon." "This type of stuff exists when people refuse to believe in God. I think that this type of harm to children specifically is done because there’s a spiritual element of how pure children can be... and I think that it’s demonic and I don’t think that there’s any way that you can chalk it up. But I pray every day and I prayed before going into look at the files in and are still praying." "I just think that we all didn’t need to remember that... You can’t get complicit in this. If you say well, that’s it like this is just you know, gonna throw our hands up and not do anything... that’s part of the spiritual battle and that’s an attack you have to get involved in. You have to make sure that you’re always backing and on the right side of justice... and that is standing for children."

I think I have enough things around me to get into that, because it's quite complex, and I think there are people that are much more prepared and detailed than I am to comment on those."

Arteta on Gyokeres: “Well, I think the level of attention on him hasn't changed since he signed to today. It's normal. Everybody was so excited to bring a nine into the club. We did it, we brought a player with an incredible goalscoring record that had to adapt to the league. “He had no preseason, the first few weeks were difficult because physically he wasn't in his best state and he's a player that needs that, like any other player in this league, almost to perform at that level. “Then he kicked on, I think he had a really good period and got injured. And now it's better. I saw a lot of positive things in the last two games that he's done, we need to continue to tweak and understand him a little bit better in certain situations and he needs to do the same, but that's about time. We have full support for him. “At the end, you have to experience it (scrutiny). You can imagine the global impact that you're going to have to deal with when you come to a big club and the expectations are as it is, but after you have to live it and living it is always slightly different to your imagination. “However, he's doing it with a With a lot of desire. I think his energy level, his commitment, it's absolutely top. We are here to help him because we've all been here, we all need time, there is always moments, and the strikers have moments. “They score more goals, less goals, and we need to be there for him. “I think so, yes (we’re going to see another level from Gyokeres in the second half of the season.”

.Naval: There was a story that I read about Elon Musk that really affected me, which was when he was talking to Bill Gates, and Bill Gates had just taken out some huge short on Tesla. It was like a billion dollar short or something. And, Elon was like, “Why would you do that? Why would you short Tesla?” And Bill goes, “Well, you know, I talked to my financial advisors and I looked at the math and there’s no way it’s overvalued. And so I’m going to make money on the short.” And Elon goes, “What do you care about making money? I thought you were into electric cars and climate change and saving the world. What are you doing trying to save a few bucks and betting against Tesla?”. And he just walked away in disgust. And I think he never talked to Bill Gates after that. And that’s when I realized, like, Elon’s a purist. He means what he says. The money is a tool for him to get what he’s trying to do. And so I take him at face value, which is the crazy thing, because a lot of people who set these audacious goals to inspire people, you kind of know they don’t really mean it. Elon, I take at face value. So I really do think he intends to get to Mars. I don’t think he’s joking about that. And I think he means to get there within a defined window of time. And I don’t think it’s just like an inspirational, faraway goal. I think he’s very, very concretely going to do whatever it takes. Because Elon doesn’t want to go down in history as the electric car guy or even the guy who saved America guy. He wants to go down as a guy who got humanity to the stars. Again, I’ll give him more credit than that. I don’t even think he wants to go down as the “I got humanity to the stars” guy. He’s just like, “I want to get to the stars, and so I have to make it happen in this lifetime. The only way that I get to experience the science fiction world in my head is if I get to the stars.” And so that’s so inspirational. I think that drives everything. So I think the government was just a thing that got in his way.

Christopher Bell's full response when told that Joey Logano was a little frustrated with how Bell raced him for the win. "Joey was frustrated? He was frustrated? That is interesting. I genuinely would not have guessed that." "I had got to him a couple times before, and he made it very difficult on me, as he should. And I got my run and I took the moment, as I should. I don't think that I did anything that Joey has not done, and I've seen Joey do much worse. So we will continue on."
