Mitch Starc is unavailable for #DC because of work management, and Lockie Ferguson misses games for #pbks because he wants some family time. Who suffers more with these decisions? What do you think of the two withdrawals? #ipl2026

Yrr tu hindi commentry chod de please yrr tere chakkar mai English commentry sunni pdti hai

They didn't play t20 world cup. You think IPL is more imp than their fitness.

No issues there, its not a tournament for national teams, its a franchise tournament at the end of the day.

You are too stupid to understand that work load management and family time matters. Not like BCCI, that has made Indian players their slaves.. other cricketing boards actually care about their players well being and the players as well know the value of taking some time off!

So why 😭 crying. Learn from them. They can dump IPL or anyPL for national duty. For us IPL is the national duty and we manage work load during national duty 😂

They have to give some rest to there body if there fitness coach demands. So stop thinking that they're your slave.

They didn’t even play wc and this crook thinks ipl is more imp

It's personal choice. They are professional and professional reaction expected from franchise too

The fact this continues to happen makes the sport look a bit amateurish, frankly. Ferguson is entitled to some paternity leave, of course, but these scenarios should be made clear well in advance of the @IPL

Mitchell Starc missing hurts Delhi way more. He’s their strike bowler, not just a squad player. Big blow for #DC.

They aren’t successful cricketers then you Akash

BCCI should have asked players about their availability before allowing them to register for the auction. It’s hypocritical if they get a big deal, they play; otherwise, suddenly there are excuses about family, rest, and everything else

Franchises invest heavily in planning, roles, and combinations, and late withdrawals like those of Mitchell Starc and Lockie Ferguson can unsettle that balance. In a tournament like the #IPL, even small changes in availability can have a ripple effect.

Maybe the IPL needs to be shorten to 4-5 weeks so players don’t feel like they’re stuck!

Something phishing

DC hurts worse, Starc's a game changer, no backup. PBKS shrugs off Ferguson easier. Work mgmt > family time, but IPL teams bleed. #IPL2026

IPL is not evrything for many ....akash chopra who has played few matches internationally can not understand this...

why should they prioritize IPL when bcci doesn't allow indian players to participate in any other league. IPL anyway is a useless tournament

On the other hand - will you take risk of playing Bumrah all 16-19 matches in IPL 2027 just before the World Cup 2027 ?

I think the IPL's 2 month long period is the reason

Why IPL is dependent on overseas pacers? Others leagues of ghe world where Indians donot play dont cry about Indians not playing.

Ban 2 years for ipl and SA league or ilt or major league

We shouldn’t create headlines around players who are skipping IPL and rather not give them importance. We have so many other exciting players to watch out for. Lockie knew, he wouldn’t be part of 11 anyways!

Franchises build their plans around big overseas names. With just four slots available, last-minute withdrawals disrupt everything—strategy, balance, and investment.

Do you think that any other T20 competition would be carrying on like complete selfish wanker?

Just before IPL it's cooking something?

Too many absences this late for the IPL

These “Whites” are up to cooking something. Trust me.

Starc's workload management for DC and Ferguson's family break for PBKS raise questions. Teams suffer most, risking early season setbacks while players prioritize personal commitments over IPL.

Lockie really needs to stay with his wife now, cause of his baby👶

Ferguson has taken time off for paternity leave. His family comes first and he will come back when he is ready. That’s between him and PBKS. What is your problem
