What's terrifying is that like 20 years ago Gruen did a segment "selling the unsellable" about euthanasia. It only took us 20 years to go from comically unbelievable to a reality.

Assisted death should be voted down and must never be an option as it’s open to abuse and we all know it WILL be abused by the unscrupulous. Take a look at how the MAID program in Canada started and where it’s at now, that alone should tell you how it can and will be abused.

This is chillingly true in many cases, most of which we would never hear about under the proposed legislation currently before the Lords.

I don’t like narratives like this, it adds to the polarisation of every topic. Yesterday, I spoke first hand to a man who has been diagnosed with a degenerative disease who wishes he could sign up to such a plan as his imminent demise is causing him great anxiety and suffering.

Only thing is they'll no adverts as such, funny but not that funny as some people live in excruciating pain increased doses of morphine can't mask some starve to death, so assisted dying bill is long over due, ex PM May opposes the bill as she's mistakingly calling it suicide

Aptly put. Anyone contemplating suicide has been forced into that decision bc of anticipated suffering, costs to family, family suffering, bc the state has not adequately provided solutions to end of life care.
