Mitchell Robinson, dominant contested rebounding numbers… Really mixes it up on the glass, not just grabbing easy boards. Rare combination of rebounding skill, want-to, size, and brute strength.

Illinois aggressively crashed the offensive glass with 4 players on *every shot,* rebounding 49% of its misses. It wasn’t usually Illinois’ size -- but rather their speed -- that allowed them to get around Michigan's guards & wings and totally dominate the boards

The Knicks add Drummond who is one of the better offensive rebounding bigs in the league to fill the void of Mitchell Robinson. He also shot 35.6% from 3 in the regular season and 50.0% from 3 in the playoffs this past season. HUGE addition.

The 1 Drill To Meet All Your Rebounding Needs REPLY BELOW FOR A FREE PDF WITH 10 SMALL SIDED GAMES FROM ELITE COACHES! (Please make sure you are following us so we are able to send you the DM) Coach LoGalbo goes over “Creighton Rebounding” a 3v3 rebounding drill that revolves around shooting all 3s in a live setting. “If you’re not rebounding…then you’re gonna have a hard season.” Rebounding must be a priority and this drill focuses on that. Instructions: Coach begins by passing the ball to an offensive player. -All of the defenders close out. -The player who receives the pass shoots Immediately. -If the defenders score, they go on offense. -The team that scores gets to stay on the court. This forces the offense to crash the boards rather than watching their shot.

The 1 Drill To Meet All Your Rebounding Needs Some coaches don't believe in doing rebounding drills. They believe they can emphasize rebounding in everything they do without isolating it. I love that in theory. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked that well for me in reality. Coaches like Tom Izzo and Kelvin Sampson seem to agree. Michigan State and Houston are known for being 2 of the best rebounding teams in the country. I don't think it's a coincidence that they prioritize practicing rebounding. If you want your team to be elite on the boards, you must drill it in practice. Here's a versatile and game-like drill from 3v3 Drills For Offense & Defense with Coach Nick LoGalbo that will help your team dominate the glass. Setup: -Position 3 players around the perimeter -3 defensive players are in the paint Instructions: 1. The coach begins by throwing the ball to an offensive player. 2. All of the defenders close out. 3. The player who receives the pass shoots immediately. 4. The defenders must box out and grab the rebound. 5. Play is live until the ball is scored. The rebounding team does not have to take the ball out. Thus, if the defense does a good job boxing out and gathers the rebound close to the rim, they can immediately shoot. This continues until a basket is scored. 6. Each basket is worth 1 point. Play to 5.

Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen defending Evan Mobley's rebounding performance: "He contributed to them not getting a lot of offensive rebounds. He took himself out of plays to make sure someone else got the rebounds. There's a reason why other guys had many rebounds."

Asked Ime Udoka & Rafael Stone to assess the Rockets half court offense, which ranks just 22nd in points per play, and if the offensive rebounding edge is sustainable: "We want to maintain that identity. Continue to work on pace and movement. Ball and body movement in the half court. Not being as stagnant and dependent on isolations." 📺

Jalen Brunson was asked about the impact of Karl-Anthony Towns' rebounding Towns: "No one gives a damn about the rebounding, I want to talk about 10,000 points, man!" Brunson: "What he's been doing these past couple games has been great. We need that from him. That's what he brings to the table. Offensively, when the ball's not going in as much as it should be, he finds a way to impact the game. I think that's really important for us and it's a big-time performance from him."

“They get outrebounded on the season, they’re a negative rebounding team, and they outrebounded us. It was a hugely disappointing effort, that’s really all I have to say.” Coach Cronin, speaking after UCLA’s 64-61 loss to Minnesota

Rebounding, or jumping on a mini-trampoline, offers a variety of health benefits for the body that are both surprising and impressive. Here’s a detailed look at some of the key advantages: 1. Improved Cardiovascular Health ❤️ Rebounding is an excellent way to get your heart pumping and improve cardiovascular health. The rhythmic motion increases heart rate, promoting better circulation and strengthening the heart muscle over time. 2. Lymphatic System Boost 🌿 Unlike many other forms of exercise, rebounding is particularly effective at stimulating the lymphatic system. The up-and-down motion helps to flush out toxins, waste, and other unwanted materials from the body, which can enhance your immune system and overall health. 3. Enhanced Balance and Coordination ⚖️ The unstable surface of the trampoline forces your body to engage multiple muscles to maintain balance, which over time improves your coordination and stability. This can be especially beneficial for older adults looking to maintain their independence and reduce the risk of falls. 4. Low-Impact Exercise 🌟 Despite its effectiveness, rebounding is gentle on the joints. The trampoline absorbs much of the impact, making it a great option for those with joint pain or those recovering from injuries, while still providing a high-intensity workout. 5. Muscle Toning and Strengthening 💪 Rebounding works out various muscle groups, particularly in the core, legs, and lower back. Regular sessions can lead to improved muscle tone, increased strength, and better posture. 6. Improved Bone Density 🦴 The gentle impact on bones from rebounding can stimulate bone growth and increase bone density, which is crucial for preventing osteoporosis and maintaining bone health as we age. 7. Stress Relief and Mental Health 😌 The rhythmic motion of bouncing has been shown to have calming effects, reducing stress and anxiety. Additionally, the physical activity releases endorphins, the body's natural mood lifters, which can help to combat depression and improve overall mental well-being. 8. Better Digestion and Gut Health 🍎 Rebounding can also positively impact digestion by stimulating the digestive tract, promoting better nutrient absorption, and reducing issues like constipation. The gentle motion helps to massage the intestines, aiding in regular bowel movements. 9. Increased Energy Levels ⚡️ Regular rebounding can lead to higher energy levels. The exercise helps to improve circulation and oxygen flow throughout the body, which can leave you feeling more energized and less fatigued throughout the day. 10. Weight Loss and Fat Burning 🔥 Rebounding is an effective calorie-burning exercise. It increases metabolism and helps to burn fat, making it a great option for those looking to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. Incorporating just a few minutes of rebounding into your daily routine can provide a wide array of benefits, making it a versatile and effective way to support your overall health and well-being.

Steven Adams describing the connection between the stretch-5 era and the resurgence of offensive rebounding… “The people they were drafting, they’re not used to what I call trenchwork… all the stuff that’s not sexy - they’re really not good at it at all. A lot of the techniques I use wouldn’t work on dudes back in the day. But now I’m versing people that don’t know any of that stuff”
