Mixed reality drums have arrived 🥁 Who else is excited to learn how to play drums in MR?

Played in @ParadiddleVR, out now on the official Meta Quest Store!

To really learn the drums, you have to feel the rebound from a real drumskin, otherwise this is just a fancier guitar hero make-believe

This is an edrum kit with mesh drumheads which feels pretty good to play on. You can also use the app with an acoustic kit for a visual overlay, but even with edrums you can learn how to play drums just fine.

Was this recorded simultaneously? Or just really good playing almost the same way two times?

Separate takes! But I'm glad to know people can't tell easily 😄

Are you planning to license big name bands?

Yes we're working on it!

Plans to support Vision Pro?

I'd love to! I just need to get myself invited to a developer lab first to try it out in person.

I did this as my final year project in uni back in 1993. The graphics are better now though. Still cool 30 years later :)
