Got to go to Laney High years ago and they have old scorecards cased up. They read something like this: Team Whoever 45 Laney 65 (MJ 58) Team Whoever 38 Laney 70 (MJ 63) and on and on and on. Really cool experience. @sportsrage

Ronnie tore his knee against Provine High and was lost for the season, shortly before the playoffs. Murrah lost in the championship game but Jesse must’ve played the game of his life. Everyone in the coliseum including the winning team gave him a standing ovation.
He scored 86 that night.
