@JomboyMedia My god manfred is gonna kill the game. It’s 14-0 in the third because ur fifth starter didn’t have it. He’s thrown 130 pitches

Luis Gil having throw 140 pitches because he hasn’t met the min after coming off TJ sounds smart. Just one of many stupid examples that would be a reality

@TalkinBaseball_ My grandfather is out there somewhere dancing and celebrating the MLB’s return to manhood

I don’t get it - what is the issue that they are trying to solve by adding this rule? Also there’s gotta be some maximum number of pitches too if this was the case

We asked for ending blackout restrictions not ending the careers of starting pitchers. Smh 🤦🏾♂️

Stop changing the game. Let’s punish teams for using openers, a strategy that’s been around baseball forever. Lets jack up the price for FA starters so only teams with big money can afford them. Lets screw over teams like the brewers that use openers.

Everyone is acting crazy, the rule will stipulate something like 6 innings or gives up 5 earned runs. They’re not gonna be forced to keep pitchers in giving up 10 runs. They could also incentivize it like you get discount from luxury taxes if u have enough starters go longer

Buying TJ futures right now

Simple solution: reduce the number of pitchers a team is allowed to carry on it's 25-man That would disincentivize the "opener" concept but you can still pull a starter having an off night without violating some "X number of innings" rule.. just gotta be strategic about it

3 Pitcher Max per game
