The Ebenezer Baptist church was an important part of MLK's life as he was born there and was a minister there along with his father, MLK Sr. Baptist churches were a sanctuary for civil rights activists and have been attacked during the movement. How ironic that today's Democrats are storming a Baptist church, and they are concurrently claiming their civil rights are being violated and that they are fighting against white supremacy!
