Even though the animation in the latest season of The Simpsons is smoother, it looks worse, probably because Marge goes off-model several times, and not just in smear frames (actually, there are no smear frames). Compare this scene from season 37 to this one from season 19.

Check this super cool animation by ⁦@_Emaleo⁩ testing this animation on 2/3 (for beginners… same frames repeats for 2/3 frames) I love the concept and the rhythm of this piece … 🐢🍕🍺 #animation #ninjaturtles #michelangelo #animazione #mike

The spacing in your animation is the reason it feels soft. Larger spacing, combined with a strong path of action and smear frames, will make your impacts feel much more powerful. Mentoring sessions open #animate #animationtips #kungfupanda

I play around with old frames and audio. Since I haven’t draw anything.

I asked Nano Banana Pro to make 6 frames of this. Then ran these 6 frames through DomoAI's latest Frames to Video feature, and it's awesome, drive-tastic. It's no joke, the most fun I've worked with. DomoAI official

When it doubt, cut frames as my old coworkers used to say. These days, if the rig allows it, I'll cut frames and try to add a form of smear or double my old mentor told me that smears are something that should be felt, not seen unless closely examined. Smears should never distract from or overpower the rest of the animation rig: Kiel Figgins @TheGreatJug

I never played the game to be a contestant. Valentina Derangement Syndrome (VDS) is REAL. They smear me because they fear me. I’m fighting a double team of fake republicans & fat liberals, so I love my odds❤️
