The limit can be arbitrarily changed in particle settings if you don’t like the limit i set by default. Sitting at around 100 per unique plank, which i think is a lot

Would you consider adding a solid edge to the preview material? I don't know about others, but i have a hard time lining stuff up if the edges aren't solid.
