MMV2 Work Thread FINALE wooooo mario's madness yeeeeeaaaaaaa!!!!

What's the deal with Overdue?!?!! *seinfeld laugh track* For Overdue I am the grand wizard behind the glory of the final part. I made these sprites and also programmed them into the game. They were a bitch and a half to get working right but GOD was it worth it.

also i made this game over im not that proud of it lol which is why im not even bothering to post the whole thing

As well as making the sprites for Ghost Mario in the second part of the song

I also conceptualized this background, and did lineart and color. @SHG4313 and @EllisBros helped with rendering the entire thing and made it look beautiful.

I also drew almost all of the characters who show up in the background during Nourishing Blood, the only one who wasn't drawn by me was Garfield.

I'm not gonna post the whole thing here but i'll just mention it that I made the first half of the intro cutscene. Up to them being pulled into the TV, at which point Marco took over.

Now for the main man. All of the stuff I did for the main week of the mod. The first thing is the background for the second song Starman Slaughter. It looks a little strange without the fire, huh?

Speaking of the fire, here it is. It's pretty simple in terms of effects but it gets the job done. This is also the same fire that pops up in Its-a-Me near the end.

And speaking of Its-a-Me, while I didn't help with anything for that song besides the fire, I did make the visualizer art for the Its-a-Me visualizer. Pretty happy with how these ones turned out as well, really like the poses.

Now back to Starman Slaughter. Besides the background, I made a couple sprites for the song as well. Starting with Yoshi.exe

I also made Mario.exe's Melted Sprites when he jumps back up at the end of Starman Slaughter. Including his scream animation at the very end.

Okay now for All-Stars, I did a LOT for this song alone, so here goes. Starting off with the big man himself, Ultra-M. Although at this point these are pretty old, i'm still very proud of these sprites. I really love the hand drawn detail with the tentacles and his poses.

I also made the sprites for Omega, a.k.a Tanooki.exe, as he was dubbed by many of our fans. The poses here were made a long time before his extra animations, and as a result look a lot better.

Made these sprites for one of the Corrupted Buddies, this one named W4R, who some of you may remember the old sprites if you had seen leaks. They got quite the improvement huh?

On the topic of Act 2, I made the art for Act 2 in the visualizer, I very much like how these turned out, ESPECIALLY the buddies one.

For Act 4 I made both bf and ultra's sprites for the first part. Bf's other sprites were made by Marco.

I also made every background in the song, Act 1 was originally going to be a void styled background similar to the other 3 but i pushed for it to be something more cinematic, and @FriedFrick came up with the idea of making it a destroyed New Donk City.

For my last few things, I have the animated lyrics from act 3. These took a while to do, thankfully i found a somewhat efficient way to do this where it only took up a couple of spritesheets. It was well worth it and made one of the best moments in the mod for me.

And the very last thing I have to show is the animation for the voiceline at the start of Act 4. Theres some parts of this i think could look better but for how quickly i threw it together i think it works well.

And that's it. That's all my Mario's Madness work. It feels like way less than i thought now that i put it all out in a list. But it really was a lot. Any other things i didn't mention were probably too small for me to bother listing it or i just forgot.

Again, working on this mod was such an amazing experience that allowed me and the whole team to grow and improve our skills so much, and i have no words to describe how happy it makes me that so many people enjoy something that i contributed so much to. Thanks. Merry Christmas!
