Modder “joey” is making a GTA 4 mod where you can switch between Niko/Luis/Johnny seamlessly and do each protagonist’s missions within one game. Missions are done in chronological order so Luis isn’t unlocked until Three leaf clover. Insanely cool mod!

While extremely impressive from a technical standpoint, personally I don't like this system. To me this was the most immersion-breaking thing about GTA V, at least when it came to the open world aspect. I felt like nothing I did really mattered.
