1 million Optimus at $100,000 per year equals annual revenue of $100 billion (or $50,000 billion if Optimus generates just $50,000 per year). Tesla sells only 50,000 S & X. At an ASP of $100,000 that's only $5 billion of revenue. Optimus will generate 10X to 20X the revenue vs. S & X. From a gross margin perspective, it's more like a 50X improvement!

I hate this. I have an X and it’s the greatest car all round I’ve ever owned or used. You should keep it as a Halo and keep S as a beat down to all hyper cars and a reminder of the model that got you into the car market.

I’ve always regarded my recent Model S Plaid as the pinnacle and ultimate expression of automotive technology. It’s existence shows the world what automobiles can be. Tesla should find a way to continue Model S production if only for that reason. It’s importance as a symbol greatly exceeds its value on a quarterly earnings report.
