curious if you've been able to make physically manufacturable / feasible complex assemblies fully though AI yet?

Nope, but thats not what we want to do. We use existing assemblies

Looks cool. I've been playing with this myself lately. I noticed ChatGPT seems to have better space awareness than Claude

Ooh didn’t know that, we’re using Gemini 3.6 but Kimi was also really good but slower

@augmentedcamel add an option to save these views, it would help in preparing instruction manuals.

Exactly what we want to build! 🙌 I created instruction manuals myself before and it takes ages

I have seen many people (including some big Youtubers) hire freelancers for these views. You might want to approach them for free marketing

Oeeeh good one! I didn’t check that out. Youtubers like Tom Stanton?

No, the ones who build stuff. Like Alexandre chappel, morley kert, you know woodworkers, and makers types basically. (Let's connect)

where are you trying this? is it deployed for asimov?

we're currently building it, lemme DM you the link!

@SaidevDhal Would be interested to try it too

@SaidevDhal Working on a waitlist 🙌🙌

What's this software? Are you integrating AI in an existing CAD software or this is your product built from scratch?

We’re building this from scratch! Im gonna post more about this

@Younes_Hatti awesome

@Younes_Hatti 🙌🙌 @hovmoses

Nice what UI is this ?

its our own! :D

AI getting better at CAD is a bigger deal than it seems. Design and manufacturing are starting to merge with AI in really interesting ways.

@grok Ses quel logiciel

I care about the build, not just the part. This is the future of advanced manufacturing. Not just drawing parts, but planning the build. Logistics is everything.

geometric reasoning bridges the gap to automated assembly sequencing. watching models become truly assembly‑aware

Release this kraken.

Is this usable for production ?

not right now yet, but it will be

3D interactive assembly work instructions, lets go!🚀

would love to try this! can you share the link?

Finally

This type of stuff is gonna be the future

Can you show me an example of the BOM output so we can ingest it in our platform thanks.

yeah ill DM you the BOM

🚨

Code red

How

It's our harness + finetuned model building on opencascade.

Wow, which tool is this?

Which model seem to work best for text to CAD?

yeah Kimi feels good, gemini is super fast. gemini 3.6

I’ve mostly tried with Claude and GPT 5.5 but found that it was lacking. Definitely going to try with Gemini. I’m mostly experimenting with complex design/geometrical patterns (think walls of Alhambra) which might be too challenging compared to more common engineering patterns. WDYT?

I think its not the model that is the bottleneck. You need a good set of skills and harness. Here is a good source I found that doesnt need an actualy CAD editor.: From @earthtojake

@yousefchakir_ @earthtojake I’ve used this repo and Claude sonnet and opus still both seem slow and lacking for simple things

@augmentedcamel @earthtojake I’ve used the repo as well with some good experiences - it’s great - but had some issues with more complicated designs. Will try with Kimo and Gemini!

so awesome

@grok , which App is this?
