Let us never forget this fundamental truth: The state has no source of money other than the money people earn themselves. If the state wishes to spend more, it can do so only by borrowing your savings or by taxing you more. And it is no good thinking that someone else will pay—that "someone else" is you. There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money. Prosperity won't come by inventing more and more lavish public expenditure programs. These cows are in the flooding waters and they don’t know which way to go. 💔 I hope they went back and tried to save them or hopefully someone was called to come rescue them and get them to safer ground. Seems yearly now we have these devastating floods. North Carolina in the Appalachians, Kerrville, Texas and now Kentucky and many others. Prayers for all those animals and people there. But if unions want to spend to uphold union rights, if the working families party wants to spend to get health care passed, if the national nurses united or the medicare for all pac wants to spend to push back on the power of big pharma, I think it's important for us to make sure that we are fighting fire with fire, but those are different things.
