No social media for my young kids, parents you don’t have to give in, most of you aren’t true parents. Kick this friend parent stuff to the curb. Start slowly introducing it in high school, with time restrictions.

I knew a couple who had a baby. Husband was the stay at home parent to the super controlling mom. Their infant had to constantly have the tv on to the point that if the tv was off, he would scream & cry hysterically thinking it was broken. Then when changing the diaper which is what, 30-60 seconds, he had to have the iPhone in his face and this was like 2009.

The problem is not particularly technology the problem is the responsibility of using it in the rightful manner , parents could also use that technology to teach their kids important things but they instead give them to entertain them Entertainment is poison in today's world

When we lived in Albania we never saw any children with cell phones. They were all outside playing games with each other. Here in Portugal, not only do all the children have cellphones, they all have soothers stuck in their mouths as well. It’s very bizarre.

I'm 15 right now and seeing a lot of young kids with the phone in front of them everywhere,at restaurants,while talking to their parents,etc. Its just sad to see them wasting their childhood like this. The serious problem is that they will have no social skills in adulthood.
