I'm going to be the fun ruining pedant here. Vampires dont show up in film or mirrors because old mirrors and black and white film used silver, which vampires are allergic too. I wonder what modern technology still uses silver and would cause vampires problems..

This is my life. I regularly question whether I am a vampire every time I madly wave my hands in front of a motion activated water faucet. And towel dispensers. And soap dispensers. And my motion activated lights outside of my garage. I am a vampire, apparently.

Immortal. Invincible. Unseen by cameras. Still waving at a bathroom sensor like a guy trying to get the bartender’s attention.

how much of this is a continuation of not being invited in, too

I read a sci fi novel where aliens attacked and conquered the Earth until their troops killed a bunch of farmers in some valley in the Carpathian mountains. Turned out vampires were real and they passed off Dracula.

Interesting

Well there are other metals that make good mirrors besides silver, and I suppose if a vampire were to wear something like a corsage it would be big enough to set of motion detectors (I have seen birds trigger automatic doors).🤔

If you play vampire the masquerade table top game. There is an entire clan of vampires that works exactly like this!

Good thing the vampire of my story do reflects

Microplastics can remove those problems.. grind it down to a lotion format and you have sensors reading you clearly

Maybe they carry a magical hand soap pump? But, hate the automatic water faucets

“I’m still here” lmao

You joke but imagine how hard it must be to keep yourself looking good when you can NEVER use a mirror to see your hair, your face, your ANYTHING

Con razón la mayoría no salen a menos que tengan hambre, ser un vampiro es super inconveniente si viven como una persona normal
